It’s official. They’ve lost me. We will not be vacationing there for quite sometime. Until they fix things.

So basically Disneyland is the same just changed name. And Disneyworld is doing the old system but with all the new names. Lol. They are hearing what we say, but the comprehension is not there. They keep creating more problems that are not the solution we are actually wanting.

people complained the 2 had different names when this all released in the first place, this is them just catching up to those complaints

I am really against this I prefer a system similar to Tokyo Disneyland's like have free fast pass for the most of the rides on Genie plus while Individual Lightning Lane should be for Popular attractions like Rise of the Resistance, Radiator Springs Racers, Flight of Passage, and Rides temporarily that are new or on Virtual Queue

You are stuck to the phone and you better bring a battery pack for your phone

Name change is garbage!! Also isn’t photopass included in the genie+ program? Not that I’m buying it strictly for photopass but for a guy who comes to Disneyland once every 1-2 yrs it was nice to get better pics of my kids with characters than my iPhone. Just hoping to get your thoughts?

Word salad, couldn't have said it better Mondo! Disney overall is missing the classic princicple of "show, don't tell". Just provide the best service, story, experience possible, and stop talking about "what you're doing". Probably best to distance from Genie, the free "planning" service that absolutely pinballs you around the park if you follow its "guidance", which they said is staying. Genie was always a brand withdrawal to the character voiced by Robin Williams sadly. 😖

From my experience. Genie + is worth it at WDW. Disneyland, not so much, better off rope dropping

This is really locking you into a dedicated park to visit each day (or at least start at) to control crowds at WDW. You book one, you go there. So they have even more control over guest flow (which they lost when they took away non-dated ticket reservations).

To be honest I think Disney did a good job on this one. Not much people know what “Genie+” is. “Lightning Lane Pass” is more straight forward in words especially for foreigners

Could have just said “lightning lane pass” and ”Lightning lane single” putting pass at the end of the single lane is kinda redundant and makes no sense since a pass in theme park world is always multiple use type of thing same with the multi pass pass should automatically be multiple use
