It is a traditional item of kalakshetra that was passed on from my guru to me. Since this dance piece has been retained to keep the authenticity of the traditional choreography, there may be chances that your daughter learnt the same item. However, the delivery of the item in terms of expression and style of adavus and footwork varies from person to person since each person adds their own individual personality in his/her dance.

I follow the kalakshetra style and resonate with that style the most. Hence, I follow Kalakshetra style. Each person has the option to choose whether they want to pursue Thanjavur or Kalakshetra or some other style.

It is not pushpanjali it's mushikawan song and steps are very different

It is pushpanjali as it is an offering of flowers to the God, Guru, orchestra and audience and invocation item. Each individual has their own choreography for each item as long as it follows the foundational rules of the purpose of the item and bharatanatyam. If all items steps are same for each dancer, there would not be purpose of choreography in today's world.

It is not pushpanjali....it is torayaam

According to the kalakshetra alumni and foundation, it is pushpanjali. However, both thodayam and pushpanjali are invocatory dance pieces.
