Willems signature move is the hurray for the RZ over the head snap. Joe Grier has the ninja like, snap and fade away. Jason has the wide feet power stance, for tripod like stability.

The best photography youtuber, i love the jokes
Your an absolute mad man. Which is precisely why I love this channel.
Ilford 3200 us a film with a real sensitivity around 1000, which is really high for a analog film! Pushing it to 12800 seems to be really cool, but means underexpose the film of 3.3 stops. Of course, the medium-hight light can be pushed with developer, but i dont understand the meaning in doing this. The feeling that i have is that people do that to have a virtual more sensitive film (to shoot with less time). This is meaningfull. Try, if you want, @1000 with -50% develop std time, will be amazing.
I came here from a google search looking for results/opinions on pushing this film (albeit, I'm only looking at 1 stop). But shit, your sassy, sarcastic demeanour in this video drew me in and I subscribed straight away! Kudos!
Ilfrod Delta 3200 is actually just a 1000 speed film that has been designed for pushing. Same goes for TMax p3200 where the pushing is in the name. That’s an 800 ASA film. Although both are really fucking flexible and can have slightly higher speed depending on the chemicals used.
Wauw, what a coincidence, I shot my first roll of Delta 3200! I loved the results myself so super cool to see how it turned out on your photos. Allthough they felt way more contrasty.
Really looking forward to next weeks episode. Seriously though, the photos looked really nice. I'm tempted to try this myself now. Mirror slap ftw.
I learned so much in just 3 minutes than hours of other videos like this... subbed for sure
Last week, I took some photos with my 645N in a public library where they were hosting an art exhibit. Yeah, my shutter clapping at each shot shocked the photographers and librarians there. I’m proud of the clap. Aside from that, 3200 is my favorite for night and day photography, especially daytime because I love the deep shadows that are captured and conveyed with each shot.
Ah yes, what a time to be alive
Your videos are the best. Oh, and your pictures are also cool.. (; Keep 'em coming!
youre doing things right my man! love the humour!
What an epic halloween suprise! Love your videos man!
I always keep my lens hood on, even at night. It still protects my lens in case I smack it against something or I drop the camera :)
I felt these came out great man! I think the grain is hella tasty and your compositions are excellent 👌 I would absolutely repeat this unless dealing with the lab was that much of a headache.

I actually enjoyed this. Thanks
Delta 3200 is not a night time film but it's perfect for fast stuff at daylight or with a flash at close ditances with a 1.8 lens it's the best film for skatboarding or any sport stuff.
First time I came across your channel. Subbed straightaway love the title, shoot film.
Interesting results. I actually quite like the increased level of grain you got in the shots you got. Neato... Thanks for, ahem, shedding light, on pushing this filmstock to quite a fairly high iso

I really like how gritty and contrasty it is
Yeah, there's a lot of grain, but ther s already a lot in delta 3200. I don't mind any of these shots. 10/10 would watch again.
Can you please make a video explaining regarding film camera's technical terms such as pushing, pulling and even stops?
I really like the results. I conveniently have a roll in my freezer. But it's summer.. sooo, I guess I'll wait. :-/
That grain looks f(bleep)cking beautiful.
Did you push the film 2 stops in development or 4 stops? It is a 1000 ASA film which is just supposed to be easily pushable to 3200 (hence the not even slightly confusing name). Meaning that if you push it 2 stops, you land at around 3200. If you shoot it then at 12800, you underexpose it 2 stops. F*** my brain is fried
The yellow beanie really gave the vid that extra spice
Living in the US must be so great for photography. Everything just looks pleasing and must be a great subject
I've recently been experimenting with this stand developed in Caffenol. My last roll was exposed at 1600 & I quite liked the grain. I'm also shooting 120 though. Not sure I'd like it so much is I was using 135. Anyone shooting black & white should really try developing themselves!
What light meter app are you using? It looks better than the one I've been using...

Hey, so I'm new to shooting 35mm film (started off with Polaroid film), and I wonder, how should I use Kodak ColourPlus 200? Do I push the film to a higher ISO? Or should I shoot at 200 ISO?

Shoot it at boxspeed like intended.
now that I have a Rolleicord, I am totally gonna do this. Maybe I'll try both on 35mm and 120, just to see how crazy the resolution difference can get

I'm a freak. Grain is my thing.
The ad in the light meter app says “church sex assault victims fund” while you see a shot of a shadowy faceless figure in the viewfinder. Wildly appropriate for the black humour of the channel and for a Halloween episode! 😅
seems like kids are right ) delta3200 is a 1000-1200 ISO film. the high sensitivity films it's more like shady marketing area than real deal. the best option i knew to get good exposures at 3200 ISO was Neopan-1600 pushed 1 stop (it's real sensitivity is actually higher than box speed - somewhere around 1800-2000 ISO)
That sexy shutter sound.

I truly enjoyed this and the pictures were nice. Unfortunately, now I will feel a need to put a lens hood on every lens I own before I go to bed.
graingang.
Great shots. I fucking love your videos. LOL all the time. What light meter app are you using? Thanks!
Anyone know how fast that lens is? The fastest 6x7 lens is f2.8, so I'd be interested to know if you could get better results with a f1.4 35mm rangefinder at iso3200. The mirror s l a p can't help with slow shutter speeds either.
Curious to know the results would be for 135mm for Ilford 3200 pushed 2 stop. Is it same like 120 or ?
Any chance you can help me out? I will be shooting a rave in London in 3 weeks. I have Canon AE-1 P and it will be so dark there is not a chance to shoot 3200 iso or even higher without flash. So my question is what type of flash and setting should I use to not make the photo's too bright and overexposed?
We use this for theater stage photography for decades.
I'm normally shooting with 35mm Ilford HP5+/Pan 400 pushed up to 3200 and developed by myself with rodinal r09 developer and the shots are pretty amazing tho

Light meter free and the app has a light meter icon with letters f/16 I have it and it works great
just to clarify, if I'm pushing my film, do I develop it at the ISO I metered for?
Sort of 4 and half stops - it’s rated 1000 iso despite the box speed. Histogram more like an ECG ;-) I found it terrible even at 3200. I just push hp5+ to 800 or 1600 if desperate - even 3200 on occasion and it’s no worse , sometimes better.
You using the Light Meter App in this video. Is it the free version? Do you use it a lot? The shutter release on the 6x7 is soooooo sexy!!!
Whats that app he uses to make an estimation on how the shot will roughly turn out ?
what app are you using for camera meter
What light meter app was that you used? I'm having trouble finding an app that can do it without buying a light meter :/ do you think the app is still accurate?
