Oh no, they didn't got tutorial on Bioscanner because there was not enough players/they completed 1st game too quickly. It should had described beforehand that first pick is team who you can trust, not who to test, and second pick is who to check (which they didn't got because of fail).

Yeah I'll admit we had no clue what the Bioscanner was useful for in this episode. However we have since played Push the Button a few times on Stream and now have a much better understanding. We have another episode of Push the Button coming later this week where we put it to good use :)

Jaz was very suspicious in the second game as she went from saying she thought taxidermy was kinda funny to saying she was hacked

On bioscanner first pick a team you can trust. Then when both of those people get the glyphs right the bioscanner will open. When it is open you can scan someone and it will reveal if they are human or a alien to the captain.

Please definitely play this one more, this minigame is the best

In games like these, I always end up falling under suspicion even when I’m innocent, so I relate heavily in the first game! This was fun y’all, hope you revisit it

Rik described way too fast and poorly. Biggest reason why they messed up that.

I knew price was the alien cause On the first question it asked “what is your fav part of the body” and he said “knees”. Notice theres no “the” unlike the other answer

It's the writing room.... they wrote their own answers.... I wouldn't have put "the" if I had been the one writing the answer either..... it was 100% Jazzy's choice to write "the butt" instead of just "butt"

...Jazzy was the only one at the start of the second go through who didn’t say “I’m a human”. And I think the Bioscanner gives you a better guess of who to suspect if the test is successful...

The bioscanner when completed correctly will fully test someone and give the captain a 100% conformation of who is selected. In exchange you can only use it about every 5 minutes. So another strategy in larger parties is for the alien to be a captain, send their partner in, do the test, possibly lie about the results, and effectively cut that tool out for a good chunk of the game.

Guys the alien can hack themselves to get a human prompt. It said so in the hack tutorial.

In this game, there'll always be that guy who's like "we need to do more tests" when there's only like 45 seconds left on the clock.

The bioscanner is were you have to match the symbols the captain is saying and if you get all the symbols correct you can pick one person to scan if their human or not. So if the alien was choosing the symbols they might try to make it fail so they won't be scanned to see if their human or not.

That first vote was very smooth brain ngl

I like taxidermy in some cases, like if you want to make a trophy out of something or if you have some sort of connection to the animal like if it was a pet or if it was a good hunt or something then yeah, but if you just go out and buy a taxidermy animal and take it home i find that weird.

the way the bioscanner works is you're supposed to put people in you think are human and if both players correctly match the 3 icons you can put any player in the bioscanner and determine if they are human or an alien. The trick is an alien could mess up on purpose for it to not work

I had a game where both me and my friend (both of us were aliens) had to defend an answer for a prompt neither of us saw

I don't like the questions in the deliberation deck which are just numbers with an obvious answer The answers should be "good pick" "good enough pick given an explanation" "kind of wrong pick" Not just "the number said 15, you said 20" It doesn't give the aliens much room to explain themselves, making the game a little less fun, something made worse by the fact that the best defense is that you got hacked

All you have to do is go to jackbox.TV and enter the room code that comes on screen. Jackbox games are designed to be played irl but most of them still work remotely
