stuff of greatest interest to see in action, and even better to learn their hows and uses. am saving my pennies as much as possible hope to get started soon with a good home setup, of wise choice. which can be gradually added to/upgraded without needing rebuy the basic foundations prematurely (unless advancing at a pace requiring an expert's gear). take'a'you time, looking forward to learning enough so as to get more serious. thank you David for all you share, will never forget it (especially your humor!).

Hi can you glide on 3 but still have it skip/strum through consecutive notes like you are pressing them quickly in sequence like 2...is the seamless slide only for certain mpe instruments? You wouldn't necessarily want that glide on a piano dound for example.

Oh yeah you can control all of that. You can turn the MPE functions on and off or customize how they work depending on the instrument. And you can do bends and glides on a piano if that's the sound you want. Pretty unique.

if you hook up a sustain pedal to push 3, will it trigger the sustain in the midi keyboard you plug in the usb on the back? or you need to purchase a second sustain pedal?

Just tested it right now and the sustain pedal works both the pads and for my other keyboard in standalone mode, no need for a second pedal.

Nice demonstration! I wish there was a Logic Pro equivalent. Ableton is hands down the best for live performance. But my world is Logic. Have you done an EWI controller demo yet? I've seen it done with SuperCollider. Pretty flexible, from what I saw.

So, is this like a 2D programmable keyboard? This isn't meant as snark, I just abandoned music for architecture like 20 years ago and haven't been keeping up with gear except for what I see here at Stu's. So, a 2D keyboard that doesn't even look like a 1D keyboard is pretty alien to me 😂 That bit @6:40 sounds beautiful though. Anyone know if that piece is in the no-talkie channel?

It's a hardware controller for Ableton Live software (sort of - the standalone has the software built-in). So what you see is operating software functions.
