More than Maynard's other projects, I love that Puscifer songs are open ended and lend themselves to continual remixes and reinterpretations. Versatile indeed.

Tool will always be my favorite band and music of all time. But Puscifer will always contextually be my favorite for Maynard himself. Seeing Tool live and puscifer live, it seems like he far more enjoys and has fun with puscifer. Like he's not held down so much. Tool he comes out, says like a sentence pertaining to the city hes in. Sits pretty still the whole time, maybe a dance or two. Seems more TO ME like he's their for the band not for himself. Puscifer he's dancing, running around, playing characters, acting in videos, constantly doing remixes, etc. He even wanted to do a TV show as the puscifer characters at some point. He doesn't even talk about Tool. He literally almost exclusively in interviews talks puscifer. And when Tool is mentioned he VERY quickly and obviously tries to change the subject.

@@VoraxUmbra Yeah, Tool is still my favorite band and one of the few decades-spanning bands with zero bad or mediocre albums. Maynard is more passionate and seems to have more fun with Puscifer which is great and I'm glad he's able to do that as an outlet without breaking up the main band as so many others tend to do.

@@Parrish_Muhoberac The example that immediately comes to mind is APC's amazing album/live remixes of '"Pet" into "Counting Bodies Like Sheep." One of those rare remixes that surpasses the original and becomes its own thing.

Pusifer seems the most creative outlet for Maynard musicly.

I have been a massive TOOL fan for 30 years. I have been a huge Carina Round fan for nearly 20 years. The fact that these two came together is almost like it was meant just for me! When Carina joined the band it took them to an entirely new level! I LOVE both of them individually, but together, they can’t be beat! Puscifer and TOOL are the best live bands on the planet! IMHO!

Carina Round fits Puscifer like a glove. As you stated she took them to a whole new level. She has a lovely voice and the ability to elevate MJK's songs to an even higher level. Great pairing.

Maynard’s voice literally almost brings me to tears. In all his projects. When combined with Carina it’s magical.

Carina Round has been such an amazing influence on Maynard/Puscifer's musical trajectory. V was such a weird album, and lots of odd side things, but they kind of became harmonious when she joined. Puscifer's been one of my favorite bands since.

Exactly what I've been saying 👏, V being quite the departure from everything I'd known MJK to bring, but not in a bad way...just not an album I'd play front to back often, I'd more cherry pick my faves. With the addition of her, honestly they are so talented together.

I love all MJK's projects, but Carina really sets Puscifer apart, for me. Her subtleties and sweet counterpoints are absolutely beyond compare.

My Mom passed away in May 2022. This song helped me through this time. My Mom would always say “This too shall pass” and the rest of the lyrics remind me of her so much!! THANK YOU this song means a lot.

@Lilith Rose I couldn't agree with you any further! It is an outstanding original, but this is a huge step up. Puscifer are now a TRUE UNIT now, yet every member has their own identity. Of course, Maynard and Carina are both brilliant and worldwide names, but the last album especially has shown not only the other members' indiviiduality, but their importance to Puscifer's entirety. Jeez I wish my older brother Jamie would play keys with them. He'd leap at the chance to do something so similar to what does so well. Plus he lives um... "down the road" from them (ha)

I am one of the biggest fans of Maynard, his voice and his accomplishments as a musician. But damn! Carina's voice is Puscifer for me. Cannot image this band with out her presence....

Love and hugs. I lost my mom to an aneurysm in 2020, she survived the surgery, not the seizures afterwards. Too sudden, too young, she's my whole heart now.

Puscifer are my favorite band. Not found one song I dislike. Hyped for this.

One of my favorite songs of all time. I leaned on this heavily during a tough period in my life and I'd like to think that it helped steer me in the right direction. Incredible music has a way of doing that.

First time hearing this version was when I saw them live earlier this month. Totally unexpected but now I’m hooked. I love the new mixes from this album.
