Finally got mine today! I love the game and am so happy that it has arrived.

Finally got my copy today in Canada! I can’t wait to get it to the table. Thanks for showing how to pack the boards. I pulled it all out in a rush, then could not get them back in with no lid lift haha

Whoops! :-P Though thankfully it's not that complex compared to other boxes.

The inheritance is a cool expansion. Really adds to the player life. For story purposes.

Good to know that we don't need this as casual players. I swear, we'd have to build an extension on our house just to keep the endless supply of big box games available!

Correction, just bought it for 100 dollars, ish.

Do you have a suggested way to play regarding what expansions to use and not use? We’re new to the game and fairly overwhelmed by the number of options. Especially with it seeming to be impossible to identify the expansion cards easily to pull them back out.

Community is my favourite expansion of the big box ones. Obviously start with Base Game until you are comfortable, then consider adding one expansion at a time, either Community or Nostalgia. Experiences can wait till last, it doesn't add enough that elevates it above the others. Mini expansions that just add variety are all good, but be mindful of the ones that add more rules. You can leave out things like weird jobs or kids for a while, but pets are easy peesy.

Hi Luke. So this one you have is just the Big Box storage. It doesn’t contain any base game or all expansions in it?

Mini expansions are generally fine but I don't recomend big box expansions for brand new players.

I paid Artipia in April, 2021. Got my copy (estimated to deliver in December 2021, when we were in quarantine and would have had more family time indoors)...about a week ago. Have played once so far. Interesting game, though the rules have been somewhat changed from the video I'd watched before and since backing it.

@@TheBrokenMeeple Mainly refilling rows when cards are used (I believe that used to be only some of the rows, now it appears to be all of them from the base game), and how promotions work. Might be others, but as I'd never played the game before, just watched, that's the only changes I spotted.

They could have provided some card dividers like Hegemony has done to print. It's annoying having to look for specific modules.

Do you think the spare space in the box suggests another expansion in the future....?!

What sleeves are you using? The ones that were offered during the campaign? Of not, are they premium thickness?

I use sleeve kings which are effectively 60% thickness

There are a few rule changes in the combined rules. The two I remember off the top of my head: 1. Put out 4 jobs and partners regardless of player count. 2. Taking an action to get a promotion allows you to search the job deck for the next level job, I’d doesn’t need to be in the display. Notice any other changes?

I believe the four cards applies to the projects and activities as well. Also it appears you immediately refill jobs and partners rather than at the end of the round.
