+mike night saw them last night in detroit. they were pretty good. ghost was really amazing. 1st time i've seen ghost live and i knew they'd be good from watching vids on here, but i was blown away. best live band i've ever seen!!!

Love the album....listened on our way to The Willow Festival and it fired us up beautifully for our show that night ;) Many thanks, top band.

After checking out this and a bunch of Purson's songs, I am now a fan. To me, they are a wonderful cross between Iron Butterfly, Sabbath, The Strawberry Alarm Clock and the Beatles with an awesome singer who rings like Siouxie Sioux. DIG. IT.

Not David Bowie, hell no, he sucks..cant stand that fudgy Johnny.. Jefferson Airplane yes, they had great music and light shows, too similar vibe at times, Rosalie looks sort of like Grace, similar vocal sound too.. similar vibe. A little bit of Doors and Sabbath maybe, but not any gender bender Bowie bullshit..This is hippie music, not glammy fudgy music.

This band reminds me of Jefferson Airplane, and when the lead singer sings it reminds me of a mixture of Debbie Harrison, Joan Jett, and Grace Slick smashed together. She also kind of reminds me of Cher too! haha

I'm surprised that i see no comparisons to Ann Wilson of Heart

Lastfm recommended me this band because I like Jex Thoth and Sabbath Assembly. What a great band!! Really addictive!!

good things from two great bands. I dont know, but this strikes me as a style that would just a little bit before purple. The bands at the time listened to other bands and strived to be harder than the others

I have a female fronted doom(ish) band/side project in the vein of Blood Ceremony and Mount Salem with an amazing vocalist and ran across Purson a while back when looking for some examples to give tot he other musicians. Purson has rapidly become one of my favorite bands, can't wait to get the new album! I bought the Rocking Horse EP and play it constantly. So Purson is an influence on this new project for sure!

So glad I got to see them live before they broke up. Even got to speak with Rosalie. She's still making music too.

Probably because this was the kind of music I listened to in the 70's. They have the 70's look too with a bit of goth.

As long as it has regular coffee breaks with custard bream biscuits in-between the bacchanalia, I'm in.

I don't entirely know how I ended up here, not that I'm complaining. This is the first I've ever heard this band but I know I'll be listening to 'em a bit more now. I don't have words for exactly how unsurprised I was to see an Orange head all of 40 seconds into the video, though I might have giggled a little bit.
