Hell yeah!! I'm 19 years old, but I love rock/heavy metal bands like Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Nazareth, Budgie, Saxon, Iron Maiden, and KK's Priest. And of course I will make rock music alive forever even though I like another genre music like pop, jazz, country, etc🤘🏻🎸🔥 Greetings from Manado (North Sulawesi), Indonesia🤘🏻🇮🇩🔥

There's no Black Sabbath like the original Black Sabbath and this song is a masterpiece.

It is. It's fucking timeless. Yeah, this song is amazing. This song, Paranoid, and Planet Caravan are my favorite Sabbath Tracks. I am fucking in love with Sabbath. Have been since I first heard them growing up. (Early 80s for reference). I got a few bands for you to check out if you have the time...The two bands were heavily influence by Sabbath and are incredibly talented and unique in their own right. I put them both right up there with Sabbath honestly. That's my opinion at least. Anyway, check out Electric Wizard and Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats. Good intro songs to them are for Electric Wizard: Funeralopolis, Electric Wizard (self-titled song off their self-titled album lol), and Saturnine. For Uncle Acid: Deaths Door, Night Creeper, and Mt Abraxas. Also, if you end up liking the song Funeralopolis by Wizard... You may really like the band DopeThrone. They are a super heavy sludge metal band. Chameleon Witch and Riff Dealer are two fantastic songs by them.

Really? I'm no expert on Rock, but groups like Sweet did songs similar to this around 1971. So did the (girl) group Fanny (check them out!). And neither of these groups were first. They took inspirations from The Who, The Animals, Jimi Hendrix, and many others.

@@herrbonk3635 As you state you are no expert. The Sweet although good where a glam pop band. The other legends you mention are totally different then Black Sabbath.
All bands need to study Sabbath to see how it’s done. Too many bands just hammer away on one type or style of song over and over. The thing about Sabbath is their smarts, variety. Never boring, always fresh. Good on ya, mates

The transitions in this song are unbelievable. Starts out as a typical heavy metal style song and you're thinking "Oh, I know what this is..."... Ozzy's vocals definitely at his best in the 70's!!
This album has been my favorite for 35 years❤️🤠
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is a brilliant album . more riffs in one song than in most bands full albums. haven't listened to it for years. its coming out of hiding now, just what I need right now to release my anger at lockdowns.

I love listening to Black Sabbath during hard times, like right now where I have a crippling leg injury to where I can’t walk (I sprained my ankle four times). I almost misspelled it and my brain almost accidentally made me write sprayed instead of sprained lol hahaha! 🤪🤣 😝 And I haven’t gotten enough sleep because of bladder issues (because I peed four times during the night lol) !🤣 I’ve dealt with this my whole life and when I have a full bladder , it’s sooooo painful!🥺 :( When I go pee and empty my bladder it feels so good though; I don’t know why? Probably because my poor bladder is probably so glad to get some sweet relief . 😅 🥲 😮💨 🤷♀️ I have always dealt with this and I’ve adapted , so it hasn’t been a problem , but it is annoying when it keeps me up . That’s why I’ve been trying to create a plan for that , like peeing and emptying my bladder before I go to bed , drinking enough water throughout the day , and quitting drinking water right before my bedtime . In addition, I make sure I’m eating enough too . I love Black Sabbath; I am a big fan of them and I love Ozzy Osbourne’s voice ; it’s so good and it helps me get through tough times ! Thank you Ozzy and Black Sabbath!💕🤘🏽🎸

Even at his finest, Ozzy can't beat other singers of Sabbath. He is not a good singer, you can't deny that. Maybe in seventies he was OK compared to the other singers of that era. Ozzy(early) should be in the "top 50's" list of best heavy metal singers, but he is not the best. After 76', his voice got destroyed by drug and alcohol abuse.

For me Geezer is one of the greatest lyricists of any genre. His lyrics are criminally underrated. Some of them border on Kierkegaard.
@pehbs3224

But it wasn't Geezer who wrote that song. Bill Ward wrote it.
@wrayven
3 жыл бұрын
@@pehbs3224 Then you must not know much about Sabbath then. Like every song from the period with Ozzy, Geezer wrote the lyrics(words). Bill Ward was too incoherent to write lyrics as good as Geezer. For all of the early Sabbath records, Geezer Butler wrote the lyrics. Bill might have come up with the title, but Geezer wrote the lyrics(he claims they were written after a stay in the hospital dealing with kidney problems from drinking too much)

All Hail The Mighty Black Sabbath.
A great deep track from Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. One of the first albums I ever bought, soon after it was released in 1973. Haven't listened to this track in many years, and it sounds fresh. Sabbath gets credit for either inventing or perfecting heavy metal, but they don't get enough credit for the funk and swing that Geezer and Bill put into the music. Tracks like this, After Forever, and Fairies Wear Boots have a swinging rhythm section, backing up Tony's heavy guitar riffs. Magic.
Playing this over and over makes me think who the F gave THUMBS down to this supreme song :)

I've gotten myself addicted to Sabbath. I've listened to paranoia and Iron man for year's and never bothered looking into their other stuff till now. What began as a quest for a new song to put in my rotation has turned into their entire catalog becoming my rotation. Black Sabbath is the best band I've ever found, there isn't a single song that I don't like from them. Every member is at the top of their field in what they do so when they come together it's mind blowing.

The more I listen to old Sabbath I realize there was so much Truth (capital T) in their lyrics that I never realized. Hopefully subconsciously I acted on some of it, but man, wish I'd have paid more attention and I could maybe have avoided getting caught up in some of the b.s. in my life over the past 30 years. \m/

@@foret4a874 yeah I knew war pigs, iron man and paranoid, that's it! lol it's amazing that all three of those come off the same album, as if they're the only hits sabbath made. Idk why those three songs are the only ones, stuck in the collective consciousness of American's, but most people are missing out on jems, just as good if not better than them.

@@ForeverYoungKickboxer ha ha I'm obsessed with Sabbath, but even I find it unlikely that their songs would've made any real contribution to changing your life for the better.
