This isn't the first time a queen had lights as part of her look that weren't visible due to the main stage lighting. Like, why can't they just dim the lights during that one runway walk and then turn them back up after?

The format of 'save a queen' was perfect for them. I really liked the concept. i would have wanted to have Jaymes Mansfield as a 'victim' because she is so distinctive with her Miss Piggy does drag type look and wigs. Really glad to see Tempest and Kimora too

Bob in this hair is every damn thing. This mini challenge is top 10 of them all. Kamora Hall was stunning in this episode. The best part was seeing Jaymes. I am so glad it seems like she is really having a moment lately. She is one of my favorite queens and is one of the few that will still interact with her fans on KZread.

It’s pretty insane that after (what feels like) a million series of drag race, there aren’t many lipsyncs that measure up to Dida’s Natalie Cole one. Fucking superb. Really enjoying seeing her back in my the spotlight a little on Bob’s show 😻

Still til this very day, even after watching the incredible ones we’ve been blessed with this season featuring Sasha and Anetra; Dida Ritz’ is still my hands down favorite lip sync the show has ever seen. And in the words of one of the greats: “Fight with ya mama.” 😂😂😂

I literally couldn’t even look at the screen during Jorgeous’ mini challenge 😂😂

Miss Roberta looks absolutely stunning in her little kitty cat wig. Wonder if she borrowed it from Monet 🤣

Maddys look tonight was amazing! So was Willows. Willow was so smart to come in with that entrance look, because it made everybody doubt her, and now she gets to prove everyone wrong week after week. I think Maddy is really starting to shine as well. I think tonight’s look is the aesthetic she was trying to go for on the night wear Challenge, but just wasn’t quite able to fully achieve it. So I have who I want the top 4 to be, but before the season came out I watched spoiler videos, and I just hope some of it is incorrect. Don’t worry I’m not gonna spoil anything, but if you know you know. Great purse first episode! I love Dida 🖤

Damn. It's been so long since DiDa had real screen time connected to Drag Race. I want more. Some of the queens have talked about it in recent years, but DiDa needs to get cast on All Stars, or WoW should give her some kind of show and bring her back in. Definitely one of the girls who could handle hosting a show of her own.

A season of the show where she is remembered for giving one of the MOST iconic lip synch performances of all time - clips of which are still used in montages the show uses in best of montages to this day? Since then Dida has become a LEGEND in the Chicago drag scene. She is a powerhouse performer with incredible looks that range from avante Garde to pure glamour and she can do it all. So in love with her character, charisma, and kindness- the fact that she shouted out the IMHO girls (by name) when she absolutely did not have too- says so much about her as a person. I also thought that, in general, Jorgeous reminded me of Kahmora Hall in the best way possible. To me Kahmora and Jorgeous have the same smiley and bubbly expressions and mannerisms when they talk. Also they know that they are beautiful and carry themselves like so.

Getting injured or just leaving early due to some emergency is kinda advantageous to a queen because you get to compete in two seasons, the promotion of two seasons, more publicity, more resources the second time around, experience from last season and more. Basically you are an all star amongst the normal season queens. Allin all, Injuries are opportunities.

in some instances you're more prepared financially and wardrobe-wise the first time around though, veronica green proved it was too difficult to stock up on an entire new collection of runways for the next season, id say personally the best gap in between runs is shangela's s3 > as3... she came out of the oven perfectly seasoned. theres some queens like aja and monique though who come back fierce(er) but just not quite enough to truly be a contender... and as for bob's comment about there being a history of comeback queens due to injury dq's... there really isnt. eureka was the only case, cynthia was an entirely different situation, veronica i suppose you could say was a 2nd example, but victoria and kornbread were never invited back and bussy revealed t that korn might not ever receive a re-invite

I love how they talk about how Jorgeous didn't have to do Orion like that when Dida committed probably the greatest lipsync massacre of the entire franchise. There have been many other assassins, some other clear winners, but Dida's is still one of the most inspiring lipsyncs I've ever seen on the show. Princess didn't even do bad, but Dida was shining.
