I love the crazy quilt look of the original swirls before the scraping. Buttercream flowers would have work for me, too! That said, your purple cake is beautiful.

I liked each stage: the texture of the initial, the blended colour, the pop at the end

Loved the puffy design before you scraped ( im a icing lover) think I would have made purple flowers with icing tho. But came out very neat.

I also liked the design before the outer layer was scraped off!

Before scraping was very cool, but the end effect was also more mature and classy
