Hi Mike! I have short fine colored blonde highlights. I am looking for a real professional (like yourself, it appears we have the same kind of hair texture). I have a short bob haircut. Hi Mike! I have got Pureology Hydrate and Strength, but seems like both of them are heavy for my hair (blue one more than purple). My question is, benefits wise, is it hydrate sheer gonna be the same as hydrate? I saw some other reviews, and it has different ingredients. My hair love silicone though. I could go between washes 5-6 days, now hardly 3. Ok, it’s summer, sweating might be the reason, but somehow all happened at once 🤷🏻‍♀️

Have you tried the regular hydrate? Seems to have a lot better ingredients than the sheer

What is your opinion on the Pureology Nano Gold line-love it or hate it? My hair is unmanageable/frizzy & I thought it may help. I know you bagged on Morroconoil so I’m not sure if I want to invest in it. As for a leave in treatment, I prefer Pravana’s leave in conditioner opposed to Pureology’s. I know this is blasphemous to you but Kérastase products just don’t do much for my hair & were disappointing...sadly.

Hi Mike! So I do not think my hair is damaged, dry, oily, or needs too much volume. I use salon products so It feels great and looks good. Its thin but I dont think it needs crazy hydration (i dont want to weigh it down more anyway) and I can just use products to volumize it so it is not so flat/thin. I am so stuck on what type of shampoo to get when I don't really have a major hair concern? Any tips or lines you recommend just for having overall heathy hair that is not really targeting a specific problem?

MIKE I had to come back here. So I gave these two a try again. You will never ever believe it. Literally I could comb thru like butter. Now mind you I have been trying a bunch of different shampoo and conditioners that have pissed me off. So I went back and it was a totally different experience. I’m crossing my fingers that this continues to work.

Hi does this product have lavender? The listed ingredients on Ulta doesn't say lavender, but if it does I'm unfortunately allergic to lavender. Would you be able to recommend something for fine, thin hair that is dry and is thinning even more now (I have long/thin wavy Indian hair). I have a dry scalp from another shampoo I tried which gave me dandruff. I am looking for a product that does not contain lavender or coconut oil and is sulfate-free. I tend to have a greasy scalp 2 days after my washes, so nothing too heavy because my hair weighs down really easily.

no Andrea it was perfect the next day to be honest and my hair gets greasy

I have fine hair that gets oily quickly but it also feels so itchy after washing. It also gets itchy when it gets oily, so I have to wash it every other day. It seems like my scalp is both dry and oily at the same time? I’m looking for a gentle shampoo that doesn’t make my scalp itchy, but doesn’t weigh down my fine hair either. Would this pureology one be good for me?

@@mauragarvey2803 if your scalp is dry, your body can over produce sebum try to fix it. I would clarify and then try hydrating/moisturizing shampoo/conditioners to see if that help.

I keep coming back to this shampoo and conditioner. The formula has been consistent for YEARS and never weighs my hair down. It smells amazingly minty as well. I have very fine hair and it’s truly the #1 choice, I have tried EVERYTHING.

I recently dyed my hair for the first time and it’s super damaged I’ve been using the Olaplex products but they don’t seems to be helping. I just found this video to see reviews of the pureology leave in conditioner. I bought this as I heard really good things about it. So I used it and while it did keep my hair soft, shiny etc, I found it does weigh my hair down. It made my hair flat and dull. So don’t think it was good for me - don’t know if anyone else had this issue? Any tips on how to make my hair less flat after using this? Am I using too much? Is there a trick to using this product or something?

I soo agree in terms of finding a shampoo conditioner for fine, dry hair. Only one I found after your recommandation is the kearastase extentioniste. Love the purology spray already. Will have to try!

Do oil treatments (cheap simple oil like avocado) once a week and cut back on washes. If your hair sucks after stopping a product, then the product sucks. I wash my hair with clay..

I want it to work so much. I’m sad. The hydrate sheer also made my hair so dry. I am going to try the blue bottle version Pureology . Redken works amazing on my hair.

I‘m still not sure if I should get the Hydrate or the Hydrate Sheer version. I do have medium hair but not too many of them. They are quite dry and damaged (more dry than damaged) bc I coloured them and did some Balayage. Which version would you recommend?

@@sonny297 I did and I loved how my hair felt afterwards but unfortunately my scalp was sensitive to the shampoo. That’s not uncommon for me though, I’m super sensitive and react to lots of them!

A jealous salon owner and her apprentice got in a foul mood and used chemicals to permanently damage my wifes perfect hair (AFTER taking videos of it, crazy huh?) Sge bought Pureology Hydra shampoo and the Superfood Conditioner.First time- looked better. Second time-her scalp hasnt stopped burning.Its very inflamed, swollen, red and her hair is falling out. .Pureology did nothing but make her damaged hair more damaged. But the first damage by the sicko salon owner was followed by her chemical damage, razoring off 4 inches and burning it with a flat iron. SICKO!
