Recently, I uploaded my in-depth review of the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible, equipped with the Z51 Performance Package. Today's video serves to go further in-depth with the sound of the Stingray, a new video segment I'm calling "Pure Sound". This video focuses entirely on sound, demonstrating the dual mode exhaust in a variety of ways from different camera angles, static revs and inboard driving shots to acceleration, GoPro bumper shots and more. They can move. Starting the vette in track mode up to10:30 during week ( 1 am during weekends) is no big deal as long as you're not reviving it up in garage/driveway or laying down rubber / spraying exhaust as you speed away on the street.

Are you planning on reviewing modified cars? I love your reviews and I'd like to see you try at modified ones.
Digital instruments look nice, but I always find them laggy. Can hear the revs go up and the dash tries to read out fast enough but is always just that tiny split second behind. Apart from that, what a monster of a car. I'll have one!

F Type R just sounds too raspy and a bit synthetic. This Corvette has a lovely, pure NA V8 growl. I like it sooo much more.

Hey Saabkyle do you think to you can find an IROC-Z or a '70 Barracuda? My dad had an IROC-Z and I'm thinking of trading my current '96 Camaro RS for one, and a '70 Cuda is my dream car. So if you can find and make a video on one that'd be so cool.
I actually got to rev a 3lt z51 but it had a 4000 rpm limiter. Why was the one I revved limited but this one is much higher?

Can you PLEASE do a 2016 Ford Explorer review.
drove that thing on autobahn and the only good sound was in Track mode, rest was meeh and i let it in track mode even in cities. that stealth or tour sound doesnt fit to those 4 big trompetes of jericho. But i never figured out how to drive in tour mode and let the exhaust always full open. Is that in menue settings available and what is with the automatic versions; i mean this active fuel management closes another 2 valves in the exhaust which sucks even more. Is it possible to deactivate that AFM without going to a tuner ? Perhaps always drive in sport mode is the easiest way for this ;-)

I prefer how it sounds in "stealth", it just seems more unmuffled and pure.
