I expected a harp cover to be nice, but this is like being one of the kids walking into the chocolate room for the first time. Truly stunning piece of music

I'm amazed that even with a stripped down arrangement of just a harp, you can still hear the dark foreboding of the intro/outro notes… Even as a kid, I thought Willy Wonka was as dark and mysterious a character as he was fun and whimsical. In a weird way, this song kind of encapsulates all that. Anyways, such a beautiful rendition, Naomi! Thank you for sharing it with us! 😊

Dark foreboding? All I remember is Wilders "Hold your breath .. make a wish" as they intro plays as they look out over this wonderful place of amazing sights and colors. Sorry it's a set of tones that are underlying mystery and amazement, not dark.

I like the echo effect, makes it really serene and graceful to hear

Polkadots, harp brooch in the hair, jacket … just like me, they long to be … interesting lighting of the harp, the balloons of course … superlative playing as usual. Another Naomi tour de force.

First impression was “spider welcome the fly to her parlor”, but the sweet melody eases me and I settle in for a listen, by the end I see the web was built around my mesmerized future corpse. Nicely done, you vibe like Wilder.

Naomi you really are incredible. I love the harp and subscribe to many accomplished harpists but you are mesmerising and by far my favourite. Loved this piece and the way it was delivered. Fantastic as always. I'm about to record my version of Clocks by Cold Play but my recording is so basic and raw via mobile phone recording and resting on music stand. I'm clueless about adding effects! Any tips here if you're happy to share?

Glad you enjoy the videos! The small harp is a Harpsicle harp with 26 strings. I have the Fullsicle model that has levers on all the strings. It was my first harp and I recommend it for beginners! Have fun on your harp journey!
