It's like.... if you had to die, and experience the transition from life to death consciously, this is the kind of aesthetic you could totally expect. It's a blur of things we all half-remember, thanks to TV and the internet, but most of us haven't lived that kind of thing first hand, only vicariously. So it's like a whole-species daydream of a story. But we totally kinda look forward to a stylized and hyper-colorful afterlife, because this current one has grown so cold and dark, and violent, and gray.
