You really really need to check out Ghetts Daily Duppy for GRM’s 5milli special - so fire!!! I love this performance of In the Fire - legendary moment for UK scene! No way they would’ve had these guys close out the Brits even a few years ago! Dave yeah - but not the others! Ghetts killed this - if you go back and watch the lyric video you’ll see, easily the best verse! Giggs (with the super deep voice and lazy flow) is the grime godfather in the uk, he paved the way for so many artists - as did Ghetts. They get massive respect in the uk, and rightly so. I agree that there’s a big difference between a lot of UK and US artists just now, especially this generation coming up. The UK has more younger lyrical artists that I enjoy listening to, whereas the US artists I like are all older - probs same age as me lol! Guys like Black Thought, Royce, Crooked-I, DOOM, Em, Nas, Paak etc. There are obviously exceptions on both sides though. Loving your UK journey so far Scru!

Would have hit harder with the lyrics, even for a native the live setting makes it hard to catch everything, the "You won't be saved by the bell when you hear the screech" bar would have slapped way harder ! Can tell Scru doesn't really enjoy the UK stuff as his American stuff and thats all good, I really like his brother KSOs reactions atm and its fun to see Scru having fun with YT again !
