@@nickpierceall8059 no legit painting pro uses anything longer than 9" cover. only high production hacks use 14" and 18" rollers

​@jgg204 the purdy marathon 3/4" 14" nap works great and I've been painting 6 years. The 18" nap is garbage I can't get one that holds a charge and you can't get the corners of the walls so I'd use a 9" before the 18".

He was about 30% faster. On a 6x8 wall it’s not much but after you do a whole home it’s more like 600x8. They’re especially effective for ceilings.

What you guy’s have fix is those heavy poles and make the frames roll more smoothly and somehow better the hook mechanism so they don't get stuck when they fill with paint until then real painters will stop using Wooster

Wooster is better at essentially everything. Purdy is only really tied up at the brushes with Wooster.

@@derekr539You’re kinda right tbh - Poles? Wooster - Rolls? Wooster/Purdy (both🔥) -Handles? Wooster -Brushes? Wooster/Purdy 🔥 -Paint Tray? Wooster -PaintBuckets? Purdy tbh Winner? Wooster (5) Loser? Purdy (3) To be fair tho, Paint Trays are probably more efficient for most people rather than a Paint Bucket. Technically Purdy has the best 18in roll handle but 18in rolls aren’t as common as a 9in or 14in rolls… especially when most people shop at Home Depot for basically anything related to home improvement lol

I went from Wooster to Purdy. The poles don't flex like Wooster. Purdy could make them lighter, but keep the same quality. I guess it only bothers you as you get older. I love the workout, but my arms are so use to it that I never notice the burn or fatigue anymore. I do workout every week so the constant arm moving never bothers me.

Just buy a purdy adjustable frame and use a 15inch sleeve

This is all good, but you cant buy purdy 14-inch roller sleeves anywhere, let alone a 14-inch roller frame have tried to obtain these items for a while now to no avail

I got my frame at Sherwin Williams they can order it for you. Now I personally don't like marathon roller covers so I buy a Wooster 14" cover at home Depot it looks just like colossus except green instead of blue works just as good and costs less

It's the cutting-in that's time consuming.

Yeah Great , Now use a 18 and Laugh at both those Guys . In the U.K , the Painters Over there use a 15 Inch Nap on Walls . America Lags Behind .
