I can't wait for Puppet Master: Into the Puppetverse, where all the puppet masters are brought together, with multiples of all the puppets running around.
"So, you're not even going to try and put out the fire?" No, this is fine. Everything is fine.
I cannot tell you how PISSED I was when I first saw this. A clip show?? A CLIP show?! Then they implied she killed Rick. Then the puppets called her? Ughh. This is where the Full Moon I knew was gone forever.

At the end of 5, Rick's voice-over implies he will be the new master for the long haul and will have more adventures with the puppets. Suddenly he's randomly killed off-screen by an assassin who claims to have been hired by the puppets. Very disappointing. Also, I thought the puppets liked Rick! Why would they put him in harm's way? And then they kill the woman they supposedly hired before she can accomplish the goal they wanted her to achieve? And then they randomly turn on the boy from 3 for no reason? And they want to die to spite Toulon because of the events of 2 even though they're on good terms with him again as of 4 and 5? They didn't even try to make sense! I would not mind at all if they made sequels to 5 that ignored 8 altogether. But they're currently obsessed with making prequels.

@@alfredvickers4054 The continuity is so bad in the series because Full Moon or Band I mean never really cared about following it. Band just never cared that much for quality control he just wanted to get the flicks out as fast as possible to get some money. However, in the past, it worked better because they had studio backing so even with the continuity problems the first 5 are still fun to watch. The first 2 keep the puppets as evil idea and flow well enough then when part 3 became such a big hit for them they said Fuck continuity and just kept the puppets as good guys for 4 and 5. Pretty much 1 2 feel like their own thing and 3 4 5 feel like its own trilogy with no real connection beyond the characters it's best just to divide the movies up and see certain sections of films in the series as just different reboots with different continuity that's the only way it makes any real sense.
The image of the Puppets hiring an assassin brings up a whole heap of questions: how did they find about her? How did they communicate with her? Where did they get the money to pay her? And like you said, *_who did the talking?_* I think I saw something online that said Jester is the leader (even though he never really does anything), but I always thought *_Blade_* was the leader. This is what I get for trying to make sense of a stupid plot twist in a glorified clip show. Good on you for not just skipping this one entirely, dude.

I think the twist that the puppets, after many decades of crazy experiences and some regrets, are ready to die permanently is an interesting idea. But the way the story gets to that point doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Great job on the episode, Cecil. I loved the line about "hey, if you are going to recycle footage, I'm going to recycle the jokes." Sound advice for watching "Godzilla's Revenge" and "Gamera, Super Monster". I believe Charles Band followed this film up with another "archive footage" anthology called "Tomb Of Terror" (2004). That film was abysmal. My only regret though is that we never got to see Dollman vs. Puppet Master. I don't know if that project was ever in the works, but it sounds cool.

Welp Cecil mentioned how they should go to space next… I’ll sit in my house with popcorn waiting for the inevitable from Full Moon. We know it’s coming.
I'm surprised no one said "Now that's what I call a sticky situation" after each clip.

I absolutely love your channel Cecil!! Over the past 5 years life has thrown a lot at me as I’m sure it has with all of us but no matter what I always feel like I have a good friend only a click away to tell me all about the type of movies I love or to put a smile on my face and help me chuckle through the slightly more rough ones like this movie. I find myself binge watching a lot of the videos again and again whenever things get tough. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched your ouija board story and the one with the red church. Two Puppet Master videos in a row, am I in heaven?
thank you for covering this cecil, awesome video
I misunderstood this movie when I first saw it. I thought that it was the Retro puppets who hired whatsername to find out how to kill them, after decades of neglect and unending life. I think that works better as headcanon, although I know it’s not really a) what was intended or b) what happened, but it gives a sort of closure to Retro Puppet Master and explains what happened to them after the events of that movie
You called it! Great work as always man!

Don’t bother to make any sense of the story, just go with it & enjoy 😉. It’s all over the place. Definitely 🍕 & 🍻 time. Big fan of Charles Band movies. Yes indeed Puppet Master in Space would be AWESOME!!!
The old comics brought back the puppet woman from 2, but considering the amount of dropped plots in the Puppet Master series, it doesn't really matter at this point. Maybe someday they'll do a big silly finale where all the junk they dropped over the years just get stuffed into one movie, logic be damned.

Hi Cecil, I can't seem to find the video you made about Vanilla Ice's movie "Cool As Ice" and I swear I've watched it a few years back. I've been a fan of your content for years since 2015 years before even creating my KZread account. Now I noticed it's gone when I decided to binge watch all of your videos in the "Good Bad Flicks" playlist, was it somehow got copy righted and taken down? Not only that. But there are videos with unique intros you made that seems to be gone as well. That "Cool As Ice" was a great video you made, the only video I can find now is the behind the scene interview scene you uploaded from a VHS tape you had. Lastly great content as always, I always watch your videos whenever I see a bell notification coming from you. Keep it up! :)

The Cool as Ice video was on Blip tv, a site that was a competitor to youtube that went under. I never uploaded to KZread (for various reasons) but some other channel had a rip of the video and they put it up. Look up the Vanilla Ice archive if you want to see it. I actually did a completely new video that was supposed to be on the Cool as Ice international bluray but thats been in limbo for years now, due to some rights issues. I may just release it on here since it looks like that BR isn't going to happen. (it did get a US release under KL, this one was for region 2)
