The Puppet Master Puppets were awesome. Blade and the Six Shooter were my favorite. They were just as good as heros as they were villains. RETRO was hilarious.
I miss the movie rental days. We lived like 3 blocks away from the video store. My parents were very lax on movie restrictions. So we could ride our bikes up to the rental place and we went like every other day. At first, the employees would say we couldn't rent anything that was rated R due to our age. So my parents had given them ongoing permission to let us rent anything we wanted even without them being there. I miss those days! 😢
I love these films so much. I miss going to the movie rental stores back in the 90s. My GF worked at one around 95 and I used to bring her lunch all of the time and then just browse the shelves. Great times
I Have Puppet Master On My TUBI Playlist Along With Puppet Master's 2 And 3 They're The Best Ones. God Bless Charles Band You're Still Going Strong.
Some of my favorites I found on VHS at the video store. Killer Klowns. Troll. Puppet Masters. Critters 1 and 2.
Evil come in all sizes Puppet Master is a great horror film Thanks Joblo you guy are awesome.
I miss that era... I remember my buddys parents and a video rental store and also had a big projection screen TV in there then and we would just sit there and watch all these crazy '80s movies
Love the dolls, especially Six Shooter and Blade. I know Blade was designed as an homage to Kinski, but I also thought the little guy had a very strong resemblance to actor Richard Lynch back in the day. Same killer cheekbones LOL. And who can forget the gorgeous theme song? That waltz? Great stuff!
Hats off to Charles, for his dedication. His commitment to this project is commendable.
Loved the Full Moon Movies in the 90's
Full Moon is INCREDIBLE. I'm so glad you're covering them. Puppet Master, Demonic Toys, Dollman, Gingerdead Man, they're all awesome movies. We have too much information about movies coming out these days. There's a great art to the old style of the poster and box art. It's something lost to time and you're 100% right that streaming services are horrendous at advertising movies.
I play Puppet Master: The Game on steam every day.
Blockbuster was the best thing for me as a kid in the 90s. Video games aside, the horror section brought Puppet Master to my attention and I was obsessed. I had a respectable collection of the figures. I wish I still had them.
I was born in '71 and was Prime time to be part of the growing access to movies like this.
I love these movies! Nce to see them getting some love. I used to watch them when I was just a kid and just actually watched the first one a few weeks ago. This is one of these few movies that I think could actually benefit from a remake. If they actually tried to put their heart and soul into it and not just a quick cash grab. Although I guess all movies are cash grabs.. Anyway, really fun and enjoyable franchise. Love the little characters.
I love the first few or so of Puppet Masters.
80.s Horror 😈😎👍
I absolutely love Puppet Master and Full Moon Features. 😍
Out here in The Netherlands we had mom and pop video rental stores in 1981/1982. I myself believe that the big video rental stores in the late 80s spoiled everything. In 1982, at age 10, I could rent the most graphic movies, and when I hit puberty (an ID was never asked). But the early, early 80 s had the best video art. But must say, the better the cover, mostly the more sh*t the movie was. And every video was released uncut out here.
I just recently discovered this 80’s horror memories series, and have been looking forward to every new episode. I’m bummed that it’s not going to be around for that much longer 😢
Full Moon and Troma are my favorite movie companies! Puppet Master along with Puppet master 3 are such fun films that i am always happy to watch!
That's really cool that Charles Band loves joblo and has a surprise for next week! I'm watching out for that now. This had been a fun series.
This sounds super cheesy but these movies were my friends as a child, and its all i needed😊😊😊
Great video and interview as always. Can't wait to see what he wants to show us 😊🐾💜👋👍
PM is a great movie
I first heard of Puppet Master (1989) from my very first issue of Fangoria, after seeing pics of Pinhead in the articles, I was sold immediately, despite Pinhead looking like he met the witch doctor from Beetlejuice, lol
Here's hoping we make it to an episode #50 in this series! "Puppet Master" was like this group of puppets which were like the X-men of the horror world when the series came out. Blade was like the Wolverine of the puppets, Pinhead was like Colossus, Jester was like...whoever was least popular at the time (?). Anywho - this series captured my brother and I and we'd watch each new entry once it hit video shelves. I hope the series makes it to episode #50 and maybe...just maybe...there might be a 90s Horror Memories - showcasing how horror progressed during that decade (and in some ways, didn't)? Another fantastic entry and a great interview with Mr. Band. Keep up the great work guys! Cheers!!!
I used to volunteer at a video store just to get movie rentals. Box art was usually a way to choose. Also used Fangoria and Starlog to find movies.
Wow! Excellent video!
For me the scene that started my love for Puppet Master and is what i always think of when i think of the series is when the woman in the opening screams at seeing Blade and he basically screams back at her😂. That is where the love doe the series began
Why is blade scaring that woman so funny 😂
Yep I a 90s kids. We did as well I miss Fridays walking the endless rows of vhs covers. I have a disk replay store near me. They sell classic movie 24×36posters flat I have too many lol
I had a tv the size of an oven growing up. It was heavy and im pretty sure that thing would break the ground instead of itself. We had a dvd vcr combo up until 2008 when my sister stuffed the vcr with slime
The Bloodstone series with Radu is classic vampire scary.
I love movies made by Full Moon. They took $5 and made it look like $5,000,000. Puppet master 1-3 are my favorites.
A shame they need to use storyboard pictures to complete Primevals. I wish someone like Del Toro or Peter Jackson could donate to the project in the art of stop motion to complete those scenes as Dave dreamed of
This is the best show on yutube
Great video as always, you guys ever gonna look at Robot Jox?
Yup, my little brother and I took a chance bc of the cover art.
Ever blockbuster had their specials of rent to get three free or something. I would search forever staring at box art for something and that's how I found this. I got excited each time I saw a new puppet master come out. I didn't like the axis turn and I don't really watch those ones anymore when they come out with new ones. The first four are classics though!
Easily one of my favorite series since I was a kid. I only cosign the 1st three Puppet Master films. Everything after that, and I do mean everything after that was total trash.
They are all boring and slow, except The Littlest Reich! (only one worth re-watching)
Puppet master is just more needless small hat propaganda

I love Charles Band!
Time to dust off my puppet master DVD! Definitely gonna watch it after work today!
It is not liberal nor progressive to allow your kids to watch inappropriate movies. Their neglect in that department created a genius, but don't sugarcoat it with nonsense like that....
