I am a Bengali. My family have lived in Beas and Kartarpur for more than 3 years. I was only two years of age back then. But my mom tells me that the first words I learnt was in Punjabi. Mom also told me from her experiences that Punjabis were among the most warm, friendly, loving and caring people (Although a bit short-termpered) she ever came across in her whole life. My grandparents used to take me to the Golden temple and I would play for hours at end with other children. I never grew up knowing that there is a cultural difference between these two communities. I dont believe it even now. We have a photo of Sant Gurunank Ji in our puja ghar that was given by one of our neighbours. I do feel truely blessed that I was born in India.

Such well-etched characters: the mark of a rich story n richer cinema. Vicky Donor remains a brilliant piece of work. While Yami is electrifying, Ayushmann is sparkling, Annu Kapoor is terrific, Jayanta Das as girl's dad is outstanding. And the rest..Dolly, Dadiji n others impress with their naturalness.

Bengalis are emotional and intelligent people. Perhaps the reason they dominate in the field of film making and music.

Indeed but we Bengalis should work for improving the Bengali Cinema than the Hindi or any other regional cinema, we have so many talents in film making, directing, etc but our movies aren't even recognised anywhere even in WB, we should take inspiration from the South, despite making blunt movies they captured whole India and became such powerhouse !

Out of all the supporting characters Yami’s father & Ayushman’s grandmother had some really nice dialogues & they were sooooo enjoyable to watch. FYI I loved all the actors who played their respective characters sooooooooo well

He didn't tell anything bad ....he was just trying to tell both Punjabis and Bengalis are so much brave that if the fight would have occurred between both of them then it would not have stopped and there won't be any surrender as well

@@DonzaiNoHana yes but we meekly released them later without leveraging it to our benefit in Kashmir problem Bhutto got back the POWs and POKis still with them!! Our typical cowardice indeed just as ukrine now laments why it gave up nukes 10 yrs ago!!
