One of the factors is the fact that what is considered to be a crime differs from a society to a society, some countries are more strict on defining crime than others. There are also white collar crimes and dark figures in the stats. Then there is how many crimes are actually reported and recorded. There is a lot of stuff that we can’t fully know to compare stats that easily.

What about the stoning that happens nowadays in some countries...I read there were sahih hadiths about stoning the adulterous married people (to death) that seems extreme to me especially that the Quran doesn't mention anything about stoning

The indecency to the public isnt a good arguement because if they were married and were having sex in public, then its not the same punishment. Its only for non-married people. So its not about being indecent in public. Its about deterring the act without really having to punish many people as a mercy

The USA and UK people have already said that Sharia law is not wanted by the majority. Even Imams say it is not needed in this countries. And lets just be honest, countries that operate under Sharia are a disaster, and not as advanced as the West, apart from KSA, which is held up by oil. So why preach in English when it isn't wanted or needed in these countries? All the same laws are in The Old and New Testament too, all this is nothing new. The difference is that the west has progressed faster than the east. Lots of post 9/11 preachers on the circuit. Pre 9/11, Islamic preaching in the west was not an industry. Now it is.

summer solstice Shari’a law cannot be implemented in a non-Muslim country. Only when a Muslim ruler or parliament is power, with established Muslim courts & judges, can the Shari’a penal code then be implemented. This is a fact which is the consensus of the major scholars of Islam. Moreover, in a non-Muslim country, Muslims are commanded to abide by that nation’s laws & regulations (so as long as it does not prevent us from basic worship) since it is a contract binding upon the Muslim which he or she must fulfill (Quran 5:1). This as well is also a consensus of the major scholars of Islam. Peace.

Abdul S. With all due respect, I saw anjem chourdry speak on a march in the uk in 2012, saying that if the law of the land isn't part of the Sharia then, it is disregarded by Muslims. This was televised. I understand that he is not representative of the majority of Muslims, but statements like that do not go unnoticed. He has since been deported, tried and convicted for his connection to Isis, but in a democracy, where it is his right to speak as a public figure, these statements do not go unnoticed. Especially at a time where anti-Islamists relish in such comments, the viewer cannot help but be cautious and wonder whom is he speaking to benefit. So saying that Sharia Law cannot be implemented in a non-Muslim country isn't correct, as he was advising his followers to do just that. This makes the viewing public nervous. Especially as Sharia courts do exist in the UK, as a preferred way to seek resolution in such matters as divorce etc. So when concerned citizens say that non-Muslims should speak out against the views of other Muslims that they don't agree with, I tend to agree tbh.

It seems like Islam has strayed away from punishment as Allah commands. For any laws. Now, it is God is loving, and forgiving which immediately excuses the filthy behaviours that break laws. Forgiveness does NOT come from Allah UNTIL REAL REPENTANCE is shown. You don't get to just say "I'm sorry " with Allah. He IS watching....you can con man, but, NEVER can you con Allah....

Actually the Prophet Muhammad pbuh himself told a number of adulterers to go and repent rather face the punishment, even the sahaba were lenient when it came to this punishment, plus he isn't saying the punishment should not be implemented.

When will these psychos understand, after puberty we have sexual needs. Because society is programmed in such a way that love, romance and sex is extremely sensitive and termed as "sin" and something "which should not be talked", it is become extremely difficult to live life naturally. Because of such sensitive enviornment even the parents never talk about sex, love, and marriage, parents think marriage means sex and they keep children sexually flustered till above 30yr age. Till that higher age the child passes thru high levels of sexual flustration, depression, rebel thoughts, dark and negative life. This sucks. Need own house, financial backup, career to marry and this is not possible for majority of the population which is why they want to live life without caring rules of the psychos. If these so called scholars and Gods agents really care about this subject, why dont you get the young ones married? Make a compulsory rule to get 18-21 yr olds married in country, then you will never have this problem. Idiots.

Stoning is not in the Quran , as for hadeeth which says a goat ate up a part of the Quaran ( which had the stoning verse ) , I can say it is laughable

Stoning is prescribed only on Married people not Non Muslim people. But it only happens rarely cuz if the individual doesn't want punishment he don't have to b punished. Only in circumstances where the person asks for it so they can b punished in this world for the hereafter punishment to b removed. Stoning is practiced rarely though. You have to have witnesses again the person doing it and if one don't then they shd keep quiet. Islam doesn't encourage it though.

Yes to the first inquiry. In the second one, if they confess, they must be left alone. No harm must come to them. You cant punish a person for confessing.
