From what I know Trailblazer's Chinese name if directly translated from the original is quite odd like. Its something along the line of "shining light" and "to move forward" which is likely where the name Radiant Marcher came to. The name Trailblazer sticks to the same meaning; the one who shines a way forward, a pioneer. So yeah, I would say a good choice of name.

Huh… interesting at they decided to change the robot bosses name from radiant marcher to trailblazer when they localized his name. I personally prefer his old name, but that just me i’m just glad I get a chance to go head to head with this guy very soon!

Ooh, is this canon? Anyhow, it'd be fun to guess. Here's mine: Zero: Wheel of Fortune (It was mentioned in the story, I'm not sure if it was a title though). Spooner: Strength (Solely because of his 'bestial transformation' powers) or Hanged Man (If you read the story, you'd know why). Haicma: Star (Her frame name was roughly translated to 'Veiled Star', wasn't it?) Nanami: The World (This was purely derived from process of elimination. All of the other titles befitting of a leader seem to come in pairs, so it can't be, as Nanami is the sole 'Sagemachina'. And in a sense, Nanami is the Machines' whole "world".) In a quick research: The World represents an ending to a cycle of life, a pause in life before the next big cycle beginning with the fool. It is an indicator of a major and inexorable change, of tectonic breadth. The representations it denote characterize the plot of Chapter 18. Upright card (keywords): Achievement, Fulfillment, Possibilities, Successful conclusions. Reversed card (keywords): Delayed success, Failed plans, Lack of completion, Stagnation. The card also depicts a woman on it. A naked woman hovers or dances above the earth holding a staff in each hand, surrounded by a green wreath, being watched by various creatures. I think our dear Nanami would fit this title pretty well.

@@notmaylea Wheel of Fortune is the name of a member of the Church that clashes with Nanami in chapter 18. Zero states that she is envious of Wheel of Fortune, so by elimination it can't be her. Pretty good shot tho! Haicma is someone who devotes her whole life to the search of a truth: Nanami. The Hermit symbolizes reclusion and search for knowledge, so it fits well. She is a "Veiled" Star, since she doesn't show herself to the world, thus she can't be the beacon that The Star represents About Spooner, my main reason of attributing Death to him is due to his transformation(using the most blatantly obvious meaning of Death Upright lmao) but also due to a specific scene on chapter 18. And your explanation of Nanami being The World is incredible. About Zero, it just feels natural to attribute the card of the Lovers to her, perhaps due to her character being centered in her twisted "love" for the Sage.

@@user-ashborn16 Interesting! I might have misunderstood some things in the chapter, especially regarding that fight with Nanami. So "Wheel of Fortune" was another member. Thanks for clarifying that! And you're right, the most accurate choice would be 'Lovers' (or Lover, singular) for Zero. For Spooner, my thought process was that if the basis was plot-exclusive (the Church of Machina wouldn't have known what would happen to him in Chapter 18) then he'd be named something based on his abilities. It's very common in the anime world to associate 'bestial powers' (I'm not even sure that it is his actual power, but I remember he transforms and enlarges his body into something). Therefore, I assigned 'Strength' to him to mean brute strength or physical strength. The other option is 'Hanged Man', which is what I gravitated to more if we think plot-wise. NOTE: SPOILER ALERT. A quick search pulls up this: The Hanged Man is the card of ultimate surrender, of being suspended in time and of martyrdom and sacrifice to the greater good. This seemed to suit his plot development the most, which quickly put him in the list of my favorite npcs. (Kuro Game, please bring him back.) For Haicma, I really liked the title 'Hermit' for her as well. However, as I read through the meaning of the card, I seemed to have second thoughts. So the card entails seclusion from the world and turning inwards to find enlightenment and seek the truth 'within'. I think the problem I had was that she wouldn't find what she was looking for from 'within' her mechanoid self. She wants to find Nanami, as well as learn about emotions. For that purpose, she draws herself close to Babylonia and ourselves (the Commandant). The tarot card 'Star' means: To see this card is a message to have faith, for the universe will bless you and bring forth all that you need. The Star represents: New hopes and splendid revelations of the future, insight, inspiration, courage and enlightenment of the spiritual self. Body and mind and converging towards the light at the end of a dark time(s). It mentioned enlightenment of the 'spiritual self' and it piqued my interest. Haicma is a mechanoid and does not have a 'spiritual sense' like all other Machines, yet Nanami or Sagemachina is like a god to them. They were awakened by her, their sense of being and existence, and connection to the universe (a.k.a spirituality) were nurtured by following and believing in her. Not only this, Haicma also wishes to take it a step further in this journey by learning what emotions are. This journey requires her to seek more of the world, and that is why I opted for 'Star', as she would need to embark on a journey believing that the universe has the answers for her---the truth she was seeking is out there. I could be wrong about plenty of things too! Anyhow, this really is an interesting subject.
