Your chess is brilliant but your comedy is definitely one of the most compelling things about your teaching style for me, stuff like that always helps ground things into my head and you’re a great teacher

Why didn’t you take the bishop c4 after fork with the knight in the first game?

Hey Alex, when you recommended pawn D4 on the first game vienna gambit, and your opponent decided to pin the C3 knight. Why couldn’t they just take the pawn on D4? If they do you’d have to take back with the knight, and then the very Queen H4 move comes in with a pawn back up? Or am I missing something? I play vienna gambit against knight F6 only so if this is your recommendation for bishop C5 to I’d love you to squash this fear I’ve just created from your video 😅 always recommending you otherwise 👍

Day 4 here watching his e4 rating climb series, i just.notice my Vienna opening is significantly improved, according to Aimchess, 5.9 point with Vienna gambit, and average 0.95point ahead with white.
