All pumpkins are squash, but not all squash are pumpkins

I hope you’re selecting the progenitors of next year’s crops from the scarred survivors and best storing of this year’s crops. I plan to send you seeds of maypops from Peaceful Heritage as well as what I was able to harvest from my own garden. PH claims to have superior genetics for them. Bon apetit!

Sweet! I got some ivy gourd seeds for next year .. I don't know if they will grow here, but if they do, the survivors will likely grow on your side of the hills, too. While pulling up the dead vines, I found a few fat vine borer worms .. The plant just shrugged, and kept on growing. Vines so thick the borers could eat their fill and still not kill them. I'll send ya some of those, too!

You're going to get tired of eating Pumpkin real quick. Start making Pumpkin bread and put it in freezer. Put rest on street that says 'Free' or 3 bucks each.. ha

I gave away as many of the green ones as I could .. Now its just a matter of eating through the rest. They keep well . so we have time 😁

@@Green.Country.Agroforestry Some varieties of pumpkin can keep for months to a year or longer. They don’t have to all be eaten asap.
