Wow! Made these tonight, and we all loved them! I used Truvia white sugar blend and Truvia brown for those watching their blood sugar. Wow! They were amazing! I never liked any sugar substitute in baking except Swerve. But for some reason, the Truvia worked very well in this recipe. I'm making another batch tomorrow tobsarecand then take the rest home

I do my shortbread in a food processor, super quick & easy

Wow Louise, I would have Never thohght about putting a little butter on the bottom of the pan to get that parchment paper to stick so nicely Than You .

Ohmy! Now U have to decide if I'm going to make a pumpkin pie or these pumpkin bars...or both! 😂 why do you need to make my dinner planning that much more difficult?!?! But seriously. I am addicted to your instructional videos. I'll play them while I'm in the kitchen, whether I plan to make what you're making or not. @railwayjade I might. I'm at my parents' visiting and my mom and I are going to go make up our shipping list. Tomorrow we're going to our favorite local farmer's market in her area, that's usually only open on the weekends. We going to do our shopping and have lunch there, then Wednesday I'm doing an all day prep ahead marayhon using my foodi 701 and her stove and oven. I'm doing everything but the turkey. My parents wNt to make the turkey. So, anyway. I might have include these pumpkin bars lol

We didn't need the punkin pie after the pumpkin bars, they are that good! But I am so making a pumpkin pie this week....cause....gotta have pumpkin pie... even if it's after the big day lol.

Do you really need the cloves in this recipe or will it be ok without since you’re using allspice??

They are different spices, but you can skip the cloves if you don't have any or don't like cloves.
