Since the last video it has been bothering me that I used too small of a foil. Finally I went back to my spot with a much larger foil and tried again. The result was quite interesting.

Keep going you will make it and it worth it. Dock starting is a very nice exercise to improve our foiling skills, it is fun and good for legs and heart! For me it was also the beginning of a new foil journey who brought me to surf foiling and sup foil downwind.

Awesome thanks for watching. I mostly do all the other things already. Just the dock start is missing but yeah on Maui we have no places were it is easy to practice. This spot I am walking 10 minutes to and the water is never really calm.

'Dock starting' is hard. 'Rock starting' is impossibly harder. You're going straight to boss level. I successfully did my first 'rock start' after 18 months of 'dock starting'. And nevermind the difficulty level. I kept wincing every time your board and foil headed for the rocks. But in saying all that, with all those elements against you, you're actually doing pretty good. Great effort.

Thanks for watching and encouragement. We don’t have many docks here and I had to scope out the cliff side for a favorable spot. Haven’t been back there in a while now that we have constant waves. 🤙🏽

Oh wow really. When I wing or prone foil I experience better glides with a longer fuse. Will try that next time. Thanks for watching and input! 🤙🏽
