Love what Puma's doing. Since the MBs, I've realized Puma's right there & their shoes are pretty good. If your kids are crying over not having Nikes, get them a Puma and they'll thank you for not buying some Filas or discounted grandpa shoes.

Love them, for somebody who has had some serious foot injuries over the last decade, these shoes are phenomenal. I have been able to wear super feet green inserts and remove custom orthotics. Cushioning and traction are also top notch and the lock down is near perfect. The TRC Blaze court may have the best lockdown of any shoe I have played in.

I just copped these in a black colorway, and OMG I'm so glad I did. These shoes are comfortable as frak. If it wasn't for you guys I wouldn't have even considered it because I've always stuck to the typical Nike, Reebok, Adidas trio. Man, Puma is on my radar from now on. After spending a day in these things, I'm tempted to grab a second pair in another colorway. Thanks for doing God's work, doods! Love you guys!

All of the major shoe companies have been on their game with basketball this year. Adidas got the hardens, Jordan with the 36 and Zoom Separate, Nike with the KD 15s, and Puma with this and the MB.01. I love it here.

Just got these and they're insane to play into, not only that they look fire for casual wear. Became a fan of Puma because of these.

Just got these in the black colourway. In terms of on court the grip is incredible. You do lose some court feel but the grip underfoot counteracts that. The shoe feels like a beefed up clyde all-pro. I do agree with Chris a bit on the materials aesthetically, but the break in time is really quick after a couple of hours. Overall this is great shoe at a reasonable price in the UK.

These look dope. They also have a Black Fives colour which looks like the felt has been replaced with leather (or more likely synthentic leather) but at a price premium.

Picked up the Clyde All Pros, and played in the. Outside all last summer. With them finally kicking the bucket this week I pulled the trigger on the Black Fives version of the Blaze Courts tonight. Stoked for em!

Update, got the shoes in hand and me and my 2e foot need a half size up. Felt super comfortable, don’t think the traction will hold up outside.

I have a pair of pumas with trinomic cushion, had no idea what to expect but man those joints are excellent in the cushion department. If this shoe uses that same cushion it'll be a definite cop

I love Puma basketball shoes. I have the Clyde hardwood and the all pro Kuzma low and they are awesome on whatever floors I play in. A lot of people raise eye brows because that have not tried it yet.

I finally got these! No complaints whatsoever, altho I did go one full size up, it fits a litte snuggish but you want that in a basketball shoe. Very comfy and my feet feel secured inside. Thank you Chris and Jodi for this review. Also, this is the same shoe donte divincenzo wears right?

I just got the Lamelo lo and damn. That first step was crazy.

Here in Canada I’ve only seen the black cw. I was curious was able to snag a melo low this week so if those don’t work out I might have to check these out.

I’m very interested and it helps when they do these kinda wild colors on a neutral base shoe. Also shape wise I kinda see the melo 1 silhouette

the second puma's i played in. first were puma clyde all pro wich i was very satisfied. But the TRC are even better as they have one gear more in support and cushion.

Chris, on the Court Rider (1), the toe “cap” leather is very short. I went 1 to 1 fit but I always end up rubbing my toe against the edge Not a lot of lockdown. Since all the puma shoes look like this, do the MB 1 have the same width cap? Even a slightly longer one would be better

How would these work on outdoor courts? I don't play as much basketball these days, but I am using my old basketball shoes for tennis

I hope these come out in a “premium” finish, where all the coloured part are replaced with Suede 🙂 I don’t know what’s going on over at Puma, but a decade ago, they were headed the same way as Fila, known more for their discount lines than their performance - bravo to the decision makers.

These are soo clean. Could easily be mistaken for casual/lifestyle which I dig. If I had means I'd cop one for each. Do you think Jordan misses the mark with retro inspired because their stuff was originally so forward looking that now it's a weird limbo because they are attempting to capture a retro look that they weren't necessary participating in the the actual era?

One of the top hoop sneakers to wear even just for casual wearing. Sole or foot bed is Really Comfortable, supportive, but has a slight bouncy but your feet do not squash down. Top material is very comfy, not that super trapped in feel like let's say the Kyrie 5, 6, 7s. My only caution is that they are very very exact with the fit or sizing. The toe box squares up at the very tip of the toes so some might want a half size up for a little more wiggle in the toes. I really love these though. Unfortunately I can't say thst puma goes out of their way with these to provide arch support, but they happen to have that nice balance of stiffness and bounce on the foot bed that I didn't have any foot aches nor did my feet feel tired after strolling in these for a whole week fresh out the box.

Thinking this will be the new top shoe of ‘22 💪

Hello, hope you can notice my question. Since you said it is snug length wise, is it similar to the pg 4's fit like 1 to 1 fit or there is still a little space on this puma trc blaze court?

Just received my pair a few days ago and I got to say, these are great. It has great cushion, great lockdown, and grippy ass traction. These are 🔥🔥 However, my only gripe is that it looks bigger than I would like it to be. It makes me look more bulky.

The lockdown is seriously impressive, better than the Clyde all pro and MB01. In fact, I would say this is the best lockdown I can remember in a low top shoe.

@@vinsanity_1510 kind of a hybrid low, I would consider it a low top shoe, not restrictive, but more restrictive than the all pro. They are a light shoe. I haven’t played in them yet, but walking around the house they feel nice. Cushion in the forefoot is less than the all pro and MB01, but more than adequate. Mid foot support and heel cushion are nice. Lockdown is A+. They do run short, some shoes I can wear an 11 or 11.5. I got 11.5’s and I am def glad I went up half a size.

You can't beat the All-Pro's. Those were a different breed of hoop shoes.

Those shoes Chris revealed at the beginning look a lot like the early leak of the mb.02 that was on sneakernews wondering if anyone else thought they were them.

I’m now super intrigued and want to find out if the Trinomic cushion system is still like that of the original or Foam based now. The minimalistic design and overlays make this shoes interesting and that traction looks sweet.

I doubt it , seems like it's a normal foam

Had my pair for about 4 months now, exclusively indoor use and i've had no traction problems. But just found some mid sole seperation at the toe of one of my shoes :( Just the glue making the sole come part a tiny bit, but not a huge deal. contemplating getting another pair though coz these are great shoes for the sale prices. that's the beauty of puma shoes - people sleep on them because they dont have a check or 3 stripes on them, or a signature athlete tied to them (except the melos)
