Puma continues to kill it in the basketball arena. They easily have the most visually appealing shoes for on/off court. That takes nothing from performance where they are great as well

@@user-ps2jj3mp2f remove your Nika/Jordan blinders on. Puma actually have been killing it lately. They have a simplistic but appealing look into their shoes for the last two/three years.

Glad to see Puma continuing the court rider line. The first ones are my go-tos when I’m hooping outdoors. I had them for quite a while and the traction holds up amazingly! Probably gonna wait for more muted colorway tho.

As a designer I took courses in colour theory.. what Jodi is seeing on the back of these is called 'vibration' which happens when two colours of a different tone but with a similar density/saturation seem to vibrate, which can be very distracting and dizzying. You can create movement with colour, which is probably what Puma had in mind with these.. 👍

This basketball shoe is straightforward, no nonesense. And I hope to see more puma shops here in our area.

That TMNT workout supplement is ridiculous. That's why the best part of these videos is the Jodi/Chris time. Gems like that.

Clyde Hardwood’s have been my favorite ball shoe to this day. Court feel is great and the materials allow it to break in so nicely. Might have to give these a go!

This is the only puma basketball shoe that I have that fits true to size. I usually go half size up.The fact the shoe suits fits wide footers also helps. In the UK it is on sale for certain colourways.

If Puma drop another Clyde All-Pro esque shoe and Nike are still lacking and not making enough Kobe’s for everyone, I can see Puma really making a push for the bball shoe throne. They have shoes for everyone now, their designs are sick and they’re starting to really figure out what works in terms of materials. Been wearing the All-Pro for 2 years now and have an extra pair stored away to hold out until they release a lowcut lightweight shoe with responsive cushion again. Puma if you’re reading this, make the All-Pro 2 and just fix the eyelets and it’ll be shoe of the year!

Great review! May I ask if the chaos block party is the same as the shoe in the video? I tried using it yesterday and kinda feel a little heavy. Court rider 2 is a perfect fit for my feet 🤍

the shape of the sole reminds me of the Zoom Freak 3, while the overall side profile, especially the mid sole, reminds me of Trae Young's Adidas shoe. I still like it overall but i would like to see other available colors

Might not be the best looking shoes but puma is affordable for lot of kids. Kinda reminds me of what Grant Hill did with Fila.

How is the upper material on the shoes? Is it cheap material or good material that will last a while?

Little side note: Ghost makes some pretty good products with some wild ass flavors….i’m on board with the Ghost x TMNT collab. Try them out.

A little confused, I just saw a KZread "short" from WearTesters where a different guy reviewed the same shoe, and he said the only problem with these was the fit was too long. This video said it fits true to size. Just wondering which one is more accurate.

Court riders are a budget model with mediocre cushion. Not similar to the all-pros.

@@redbean2705 definitely priced well. they are not great in any one area, but a well rounded comfortable shoe. nothing mind blowing but better than alot of other options in the same price bracket

I’d say CR2 because TRC blaze court’s outsole wears out really quickly and tears off pretty fast according to some Reddit reviewers.

Ironically I have the Harden 4’s.. and performance wise.. waaay different lol. It could be because I have wide feet and flat footed, but the hardens were too narrow and didn’t lock down my ankle as good. Also, traction on courtrider is way better!

Really sharp looking shoe. Are people really playing basketball in low-cut sneakers? Just shooting around for me would be OK but I really need the ankle support of hi-tops. Came down on someone's foot a long time ago and had a serious sprain. And that was with hi-top sneakers on. May have broken it with lows on. I don't know but it was painful for a long time. Wonder what these shoes feel like. Maybe I could use them like a cross trainer.

You would’ve been better off with lows on. The highs restricted a natural roll this likely causing a severe sprain. Ankle support was created by a marketing team. Zero science behind it. The ankle is the bodies support system. It holds you upright for every move you make. No shoes required.

@@WearTesters OK I don’t want to test that though. So, there ARE people that play with the lows. I’ll stick with the highs. Too late in the game for me anyway.

@@kevinknotts6337 Yes, there are many players that play in lows. MJ did it nearly every game later in his career. Kobe as well. Professional players started the game in low tops as well -- from Converse to adidas to Puma. Severe ankle injuries only started becoming a thing once high tops were introduced. There is nothing to test. Facts are facts. A marketing department came up with high tops equaling ankle support so they could sell high top shoes since lows were the norm at the time. Another fact that is not disputable is that the ankle is the bodies support system. Move in any direction at any speed and it's your ankle that is doing all the work ensuring you're stable. Not a shoe. Just the ankle on its own. There are facts that are indisputable.
