It's a Pulp Tuesday! Talking about love the only way he can, Jarvis Cocker is breathy and horny as hell. I talk a lot about Jarvis, but Pulp as a whole was an absolute unit. They did not care about the Britpop battle between Oasis and Blur. They were doing their own beautiful thing.
Thanks for watching!

Pulp are great, going to see them live in Scotland a week on Friday. Saw them years ago when I was a teenager in the 90s and was blown away. Still one of the best live bands I’ve seen

Saw them at Finsbury park last Saturday. You're in for a 2 hour karaoke session. Brilliant. And this was in the set list.
knew you'd like this one. one of my favourite Pulp songs. its like nothing else
albums a masterpiece along with many other 90's british albums
Nobody does the ordeal of desire like Jarvis.
A great Pulp song! Here’s my Top 20 Pulp tracks: 1) Sheffield: Sex City 2) Bar Italia 3) Street Lites 4) Common People 5) Lipgloss 6) This Is Hardcore 7) Seconds 8) 59 Lyndhurst Grove 9) Babies 10) Your Sister’s Clothes 11) Do You Remember The First Time 12) David’s Last Summer 13) Inside Susan 14) His & Hers 15) Have You Seen Her Lately? 16) Sorted For E’s & Wizz 17) Underwear 18) She’s A Lady 19) Wickerman 20) Disco 2000 Pulp’s “Different Class” album and Suede’s first three albums was the reason I started writing songs. It also made me wanna be a singer (and rhythm guitarist) and front a band, which I started two years later. The impact of “Different Class” was huge on me. Such a perfect album!
Great reaction! That chorus really does scare you if you don't see it coming haha
Your long videos are great! Everything's fine. - Maybe you wanna try some old stuff? "Different Class" and "This Is Hardcore" are different class, but there are some gems on the not so well known albums before as well. Edit: Oh, i see you did the old stuff too! - Great!
Pulp Tuesday! Yay! No one whispers like Jarvis!

This is true. King of the whisper!
Hearing Different Class for the first time in 1995 wss one of my favourite.musical memories. The same also for Disintegration by The Cure when it wss released.
This is one of my songs I like to listen to on repeat, there isn’t a Pulp song I dislike tbh. He’s got a fabulous accent, that deep whispery voice is something else! Loving your Pulp reactions muchly💜

I could do without Space (off the Intro album) myself, but everything else is lit like a Roman candle. Even their Fire Records stuff.
I mean, Babies is probably my favourite Pulp song, or My Legendary Girlfriend... Jarvis Cocker is so good at conveying a creepy but amusing sense of voyeurism, like he's watching everything you do, and laughing at it, but also at himself, while simultaneously taking the piss out of the British class system. Doesn't get much better than "this isn't chocolate boxes and roses, it's dirtier than that"... great reaction! If you have time, take a listen to Separations, the album the band did before they broke out.

For instance, you can hear all the elements that made His & Hers and Different Class great here, fully formed it's so good. kzread.info/dash/bejne/dZODs6mtpZaredo.html
Pls do some more reactions from This is hardcore album.
What an epic song!
Does anybody else do the Jarvis spelling motions for the chorus?
Seen Pulp several times back in the 90s, including the week after he was arrested for going on stage during Michael Jackson's performance at the Brit Awards. Looking forward to their Sheffield Concert in a couple of weeks.🎉🎉

They’ve definitely not lost their razzmatazz, I went to see them last month and they were amazing! I was on the front row and some fella managed to jump the barrier and bent over and did the same thing to Jarv as he did to MJ
Hey nick, what about some Jarvis solo material? "Running the world" would be interesting, "from Auschwitchz to Ipswich" or "Fat Children" perhaps?... anyways enjoy your reactions

I'll have to get to some of his solo stuff!
Pencil Skirt is another good one from the same album if only for the opening line 😂 Also Mile End from the Trainspotting soundtrack is worth a listen.
It’s Pink Nick with a suggestive face on the thumbnail. Click, click!! Also… did you get a bit turned on by Jarvis’s ASMR there? Hah.

You should do ‘the drowners’ and ‘beautiful ones’
As great as this album is, 'This Is Hardcore' is my favorite Pulp album, so amazing all the way through... every single song is S-tier for me.
It’s a sexy song
