Hey Alex. The one thing that struck me the most about this video is how well you can retract your scapulae at the top of the pullup. Looking from the side, it's no coincidence that you got crazy thoracic extension too. Maybe in future pullup vids you can do a side-by-side shot of you doing pullups from the back/side. Keep up the good work brother.

Alpha I’ve been doing 10x10 for 45 days straight because my back is my weakness. I did delts everyday aka side laterals 100-200 reps a day “15-20lb dumbbell. Everyday for 6 months and now my delts are my best body part. I believe pull ups and weighted pull ups are far more better than a pat pull down. Guys remember Alpha Destiny knows his shit!!! • @alex20na

@@champ8288 Then why do you grease the groove only with high reps? Why don't you do weighted pull-ups? Pavel Tsatsouline (the guy who introduced the concept of greasing the groove to the world) said in a podcast that if your goal is to get to 20-25 strict pull-ups you don't have to go above 5 reps, ever. You can get to that level by purely training your strength, because strength helps in endurance (watch his interview/podcast with Tim Ferris). Do GTG with weighted pull-ups, and when 5 reps become easy, then increase the weight and start all over again. In your case don't get stronger with GTG because: - you don't rest enough - you work way too much (which A LOT of people do and you do it too because you said you do a "bunch" of half max sets....AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO A BUNCH). I never go above 5 sets per day when doing GTG, and I get A LOT of rest time between sets (1-2 hours minimum). - you don't do any weighted work. It's up to you to decide what you're doing wrong.
