I agree man. Most cops do a good job and no one says anything about that, but like in any profession there are corrupt people and those are the ones people hear about.

I was traveling at 150 mph and when i looked in rear view mirror i seen a cop car under blue lights and then stopped. When asked why i was speeding i told the cop that my ex wife married a cop and when i looked in my mirror i thought he was bringing her back to me 😂... He seen the funny side and let me go without a ticket... How cool was that 😂!!

People saying that they're worried for the cop about his job with this video being up, that's not how it works. Almost every traffic stop (instead of something like e felony stop) is officer discretion. Which means the cop makes his own judgment calls and is completely supported by pretty much every department. Him not giving him a ticket was his choice and he is allowed to do that.

Part of the reason why you didn't get a ticket was the fact that you complied instantly. You turn off your bike, you showed the palm of your hands, hands up, with no abrupt moves. And finally you were honest and respectful.

On my birthday I was planning on having some friends over for a party. A female cop came to my door unexpectedly. She was gorgeous I mean fucking hot. I had a good buzz going and before she could speak I was like “seriously my boys got me a stripper for my birthday”!! I was 18 years old on my 2008 zx6r. I was going to a community college about 45 minutes from my house. It was about 6:30am and I was on I-40 doing about 120mph in a 65mph. Got pulled over by a sherif and thought for sure I was going to jail etc. the cop came up to me and said son why are you going so fast. I said I'm running a little late for school, it's cold this morning and starting to rain a little and just wanna get to where I'm going. He said how do you expect to get to school if you're dead? He said slow down and walked away. Never got his name but if there's any wake county sheriffs watching this video and remember pulling over a green 600 ninja at 6:30am just outside Raleigh a couple years ago Thank you

I was once running almost late for school and since I knew he got me fair and square with a radar gun I fessed up and he let me off with a warning, he said he really appreciated my honest and no BS answers. I don't really speed a whole lot which helped my record stay clean and that clean record also probably helped me out in avoiding a ticket.

Just amazing. You learned the lesson, the cop earned a lot of RESPECT ... win-win. I´m sure there are a lot of cool and good cops out there who are able to decide what is really important and how to handle different situations in the right way. This officer should be a blueprint for the cops in Ottawa who treat people of the FREEDOM CONVOY in Ottawa in a bad way. Thanks man. 👍

Listen, I've been caught twice without driving with a license. I lost it due to child support and I live in a very rural area where there is no work. Both times I was pulled over by the same officer and was asked the 2nd time why I was driving. I explained to him that I was out looking for work which I honestly was doing(I'm now employed) and both times he didn't impound the vehicle. He did write me a ticket the 2nd time but he didn't impound my car. He let me explain my situation and I was polite and respectful. Shook his hand and we were both calm the entire time. He COULD have taken me to jail. Both times but he didn't because(I think) of me being respectful. I'm trying to get my life together now. I'm paying my child support, I've since got joint custody of my kid and he pulled into my driveway the other day just to say hello and see how things were going when I was cutting my grass. Not all cops are dicks. If you're polite, respectful, and talk to them like a human being 99% of the time things are going to be ok. They have a job to do just like everyone else and both times I respected him doing his job. I even told him if he ended up taking me in that I would understand because I was breaking the law and he had a job to do(I've never been to jail knock on wood). Moral of the story just be respectful. Don't try and be a dick thinking you know more then them. There's no reason to be an asshole.

I tried selling half an ounce i just bought to a cop one night when I was drunk as shit in the bar. He laughed at me and told me he was a cop. He didn't bust me because he was there dancing with his girl and knew iI was wasted. An hour or two later a buddy told me that the cop was my boss's grandson. Like holy fuck man...I haven't drank since and that was like 13 years ago.

Once in a while you do catch a cool cop and git a break you didn't think you'd catch...Been there ...and was definitely grateful...hahaha

So refreshing to see a cop on youtube that's more concerned about your safety than your money.

It's interesting how this nice encounter with a decent cop actually made you want to drive more reponsibly afterwards. It even made you happier, and probably more positive towards others throughout the day. Kindness and mutual respect is pretty neat.

+Barrale72 RT and with the exception of 3 times (2 times radio was to loud and one time wasn't paying attention to my speed, but I was a dumb teen then) every other time i've been pulled over was total BS and not ONE of those cops where still on the force within 6 months of pulling me over if you needed any proof they where making up excuses to pull people over.

+DanielRichards644 oh, here's the hard guy who thinks he's a boss. so let me tell you some flaws in your lie... they wouldn't get fired for an illegal stop had they executed one on you, they would get paid admin leave for as long as you kept bitching to the chief of police with filing complaints. if you continued he'd likely counter- sue you. Then there is the easy way out by simply transferring units and saying goodbye to your bitchy complaint filing. You see most cops don't just pull over a random person unless they have reason, which includes reason to believe you have committed a crime. Remember that no matter what you do there will always be evidence against you if he pulls you over... always... trust me, i have law enforcement in my family.

Theodore Bradshaw DAMN DUDE, you so COMPLETELY missed my point (for the record I personally NEVER complained or reported any of these jackasses for harassing me), my point was they clearly did it to SO MANY PEOPLE that they got kicked the fuck out. Oh and they most definitely where profiling me for the car I was driving and then making up an excuse to pull me over so they could run my license, like for example the time I was SIGNALING a lane change on the highway, then WHILE CHANGING LANES the cop puts on his lights so I then change lanes back to the right lane so I can pull onto the shoulder and he fucking accuses me of SWERVING and asks if i've been drinking, I DON'T drink to start with and I wouldn't be stupid enough to get behind the wheel of a car if I did, or the time on a 2 lane road in town where I was coming home from work at 11 at night and 2 cops where sitting in a parking lot talking and when I drove by one IMMEDIATELY began following me then a MILE AND A HALF (including a red light) and just as I was about to be out of his jurisdiction he pulls me over and says I crossed the centerline in a curve (where the speed limit was like 35MPH, which I was doing), a curve that by the way was over a MILE from when he first started following me. Tell me that isn't fucking profiling bullshit and he had perfectly good reason for STALKING ME.

Theodore Bradshaw oh and by the way, I'm practically family to some of the ladies that work at the local 911 call center, I used to work with several of them when I was younger and there dad was a local cop before he passed and there mom was a 911 dispatcher like they are now before she passed, My old job also had me interacting with several of the cops that have been around for as long as i've been driving, if not longer, so there are guys that stick around here, but the 2 I mentioned in my previous post didn't stick around more then 6 months after they pulled me over and that is FACT, I don't know if they transferred somewhere else, I just know they where gone within 6 months, where other guys have been there 20 years, so clearly they where doing something wrong.
