@@samdavis4785 He just sarcastically (and pretty intelligently imo) takes the comment of him in the beginning of the interview and addresses the fact that not only is it not true, but it's the total opposite of the truth. I don't know if I explained that too well and if you understand what I'm tryna say, but basically the rumor about his pops bein the owner of COLUMBIA records or some shit like that and that's why/how he got his buzz when really it was nowhere near anything like that. He got his buzz off his hustle and his work ethic. And I feel what he be talkin bout and I can understand how that would be insulting. That basically downplays all the hard days and long nights of puttin in work for the cause. I can see why the media demonizes breh. Because he don't comply to the industries' rules and guidelines. He calls out the bullshit that goes on in Hollywood and the Hip Hop & RnB game.

exactly. crazy how people get so offended by his success and then try to discredit him in every single way they can think of. the worst one by far imo is when they say he makes bad music. thats an opinion and clearly his fan base doesnt think that way when almost every single song at his sold out shows is being sung word for word. personally i think a lot of people get salty because they either want to be an artist or theyll drop one song and when it doesnt blow up immediately they give up on their dreams so when they see the amount of perseverance he had to stick through that and he comes out successful and proud of the hard work he put in, it offends them and reminds them of what they didnt have the confidence and perseverance to pursue

Once you’ve learned the production, mixing & mastering side of it, you stay in the recording booth with a laptop and just play back the parts as you go on. The track and options to modify are right in front of you. If you’re just free-styling off the head, it might be a little difficult to go back and fourth, but the other steps come right after you’re done recording. It’s doable, it’s just more of an annoyance to have to do the entire track yourself.
