Hi Karl, you don't know me but you reacted to my pug Bruce at the beach a while ago, and I also posted another video of him to your subreddit doing silent tricks as he's deaf. But regardless, your channel and Pablo were the main reasons I fell in love with pugs and decided to get one. A few hours ago Bruce crossed the rainbow bridge, and while I am beyond devastated and will probably be for a long while, my four short years with him was filled with nothing but love that I certainly didn't deserve. I hope things are well on your end, and Pablo and Stanley are healthy and safe and happy.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a dear Pug, Maximus Frank, for the last year and a half of his 13 after his devoted young mama, a neighbor, passed away. It is such a painful loss. But the wonderful memories, and hope for an eventual reunion are healing. Max left me with a love for Pugs in their sweet loving uniqueness. If I was younger I would seek another Pug. But I have been enjoying Pablo and Stanley and Winston on KZread in the last few months.

I have two pugs one is very food motivated, but Stanley who is so sweet and chilled he is my very own surfer dude. He is simply not bothered about food. He'll eat two small meals a day of boil chicken or fish and lilies kibble then he isnt interested in food. I've tried everything for training the only thing that works is his toys. Thats how i reward him, he goes chooses a toy and we play and have zoomies. He nearly ten now and still loves his cuddly toys and balls. Sadly my other pug charlie was diagnosed with cancer over a year ago, it was untreatable had spread to multiple organs. He is 13 and he still loves to play and do zoomies. We were told he'd only live four five months and i have to say he hadn't changed as yet. I know one day he will but until then i am just enjoying every minute with my boys. Lovely to see your all doing well Carl. Your boys are gorgeous you take great care of them.

I'm so sorry to hear of your boy's diagnosis. I'm glad you have time to create and document memories with him. I lost my own 13 year old Pug Max to a nasal and brain cancer last year. I wish I'd been aware then of some potential medications that may be repurposed to slow or reverse Cancers without the costs and side effects of chemo or radiation. I'd suggest doing some searching on KZread and other websites. I believe some common anti-parasitic veterinary meds have shown some promise, like Ivermectin, for example.

I wish Nelly would but I'm afraid she runs a mile from most of those 🤭. For her 'healthy options' apples🍏 and the small plum tomatoes🍅 are her favorites. Stanley didn't look too sure at times but as big brother Pablo was giving them a go, he trusted him 😂❤️

My 8 year old pug has eyes for everything unhealthy- treats, biscuits and the like. Not a single fruit or veggie will go down her mouth if she can help it. I blend some in her meal. I am going to show her this video and try to reason with her.

Reminds me of my pug!

Our pugs are much the same in what they'll eat, although we've never tried raw eggs (they DO love scrambled though). I'm wondering if Stan would have eaten any of the green bean if it'd been broken open? Ours have that reaction to a few things (if it's intact they won't touch it, but if it's broken open, they'll eat it). Only way ours will touch lettuce is if it's touched something else first (IE: From a burger, or a little dressing of some type, lol).

Not sure why the boys munching on broccoli made me giggle, but it did. So cute. I agree with them on the plain lettuce. In a sandwich or salad is fine, alone….just no.

My pug would have serious diarrhea after eating all that. Not good for them. But the video is very entertaining 😅

Moral of the story: Pugs have extensive palettes 😂🎉🥰 I had a sweet/smart/spoiled pug once and he literally would eat everything you’ve shown. In the mornings he loved scrambled eggs with fruits or vegetables. He enjoyed grapes, apples, watermelon, and bananas as replacement for other treats. He especially loved a spoon of Greek yogurt mixed in with his evening kibble. ✨🙏🏼🫶🏼

PLEASE don't recommend feeding grapes. I understand SOME dogs don't react to them and I'm glad it worked out for you. But they can be poisoned by grapes or raisins and it can result in organ failure and death.

My pug enjoys fruit and veg, cucumber, carrots, peas, blueberries, blackberries, sweet potato, strawberries, etc, if he sees me eating it he will eat it. And his favourite is watermelon, great for a hot day.
