Puch ZA50 Engine Disassembly and rebuild part 1 maxi magnum

I am rebuilding a Puch ZA50 moped engine. Do dont need too many special tools but I do recomend a hand impact driver. I like this one since it has long bits - amzn.to/45uoRAF .

This was the video I needed a few months ago! Also my guess is 14 Gloves. I got lucky taking my rollers out, but when I reinstalled them they shot all over my garage so I got to do that extra reassembly too. That torch + blind hole bearing puller for the old outer races is the JAM! Also A+ Ken Roff shoutout at 4:20.

Just replaced my pucks a few months ago with success. Yes I had my rollers drop out as well. My stock crank is good and I am running it on a mild kit with a 20 and 37 gearing set up with flipped 2nd clutch. I will eventually rebuild the case, so I have enjoyed watching this.

Atomic pucks red ones. No on the springs it is a mild kit. shifts around 22 23 mph unless I bump it, running 0-20 synthetic oil shifts better than type f.@@Corn-ped

@@Corn-ped is there any detailed video of exactly what he does ? and the purpose of boring the case is that to be able to use the normal roller bearings are the OEM puch dual bearings deal still available for replacement? i have a puch maxi sport ls i got as a freebie in a trade on some dirtbikes. doing a top end + pipe to start crank is nice and tight no play BUT pretty sure the bearing on the crank on the flywheel side is leaking being there was transmission oil leaking out the flywheel cover so i def need to replace likely both seals any links on where to find a complete bearing kit for za50? all i can seem to find for a complete bearing and seal kit is for the E50

Drill out some of the pegs in that board so you can use it to store different length bolts in the order amd orientation they came out of the part.
