It is extremely interesting to juxtapose the upbringing and nurturing of our folks versus us. You are absolutely right about the way we compare ourselves to white people. That grates on me. We catastrophize the way we see ourselves in our insignificance and we must abort that way of thinking from whence it came as an African collective and not commiserate in the existential threat.
