well, it is all in the hands of the people... in tallinn, at this point the national flag was banned and public display could mean years in jail.... not to mention no free press, no free thought and brutal soviet occupation, along with the day to day problems it created for the estonians. all of the people in this audience would see the end of the kgb, the soviet stealing and occupation in less than three years... '88 was the winding up era of the revolution. so for them, through revolutionary means, better days were ahead.

Well, Tallinn, 1988? What a surprise, I would never think that PIL played a gig in Soviet Union at that time! Excellent show anyway!

Playing so.e of the most politically charged songs in their catalog in s soon to break away from the Soviet Union Estonia still behind the iron curtain. Lydon looks like a clown because he had to pretend he wasn't Johnny Rotten, but was with the opening band for Big Country. This is an amazing performance that shows how powerful art and music can be.These people wanted freedom of speech and freedom of expression. And they got it.

2020, and freedom of speech and expression is long gone. What the Soviets imposed on their public is nothing compared to what the NWO has in store for us all. And the worst part? 99% are letting them drag us down a deep, dark hole of global fascism. We, are, screwed. #Scamdemic

This is seriously powerful. Also, whilst watching it dawned on me at the time I didn't look at Allan Dias and think "black". I thought "great bass player who I admire and seek to learn from". Ditto Ced Sharpley, Denis Davis, George Murray, Andy Anderson, Lascelles James etc. They were great musicians and I didn't judge them by the colour of their skin. I am white. I am working class. Today, the white middle class tell me I MUST judge people by their skin. Progress?
