Sick! Should be a boat load of fun!!I I always do inlet at the bottom of jacket and outlet on top, try to push out as much air as possible trying to maximize cooling. I like the outlets under the hull👍 Get her done.... we want to see that maiden 😉 Cool build

what i think would be best is that if you put the coolant exits on the sides and put like a pipe so that when you do a pass by with the drag boat you can see the coolant getting shot out like the flames from the engine exhaust on real drag boats

Hull pickups, can be made out of brass or buy from o. s e. Y might starve one esc and motor of cooling

hey man this is a sick build. But as an electrical engine, with the amps you want to run, the wires of the battery Y connector are 2 thing, expecially the female end (Single side). either 10 or 12 ag (12 ag preffered) would provide the amount of wire needed for the resistance withing that battery Y connector.

The wire thing is simply called a choke.

Ik you've already ran it. But I would definitely suggest to make sure those outlet hoses cannot come off. Depending on how low the boat sits in the water relative to the top of the nipple. If the hose comes off it could aggressively take on water.

I’ve had issues on startup with twins on a single battery. There’s a very short, but very large voltage sag when punching out of the hole. Be aware of LVC.

FITS LIKE A GLOVE B. AND IT FLOATS GREAT. I THINK I NOTICED SOMETHING WRONG THOUGH. YOUR STARBORD SIDE COOLING SLEAVE IS BACKWARDS TO YOUR PORT SIDE. THE RULE IS IN AT THE BOTTOM OUT AT THE TOP. CORRECT?

I agree the water jackets are odd, I may change it later on. Drill and tap a new water exit so they match on opposing sides.

Cant wait to see her maiden voyage. What sort of pass times are you thinking the boat will produce?

The firma 160 should be good for general use on 8s.

And better tether those hatches so a kayaker can't knock them off
