ABOUT THIS CHANNEL | I am a Christian wife to an exceptional man, a mother to beloved daughters, a diligent homemaker, and a businesswoman. But before all these roles I am a woman who belongs to The Lord. A daughter to the God of The Bible through the work of my savior Jesus Christ. On this channel, you will enjoy content designed to cultivate a rich experience of biblical womanhood. You will be encouraged to place your true hope and faith in the Lord. You will also hear hard discussions about accountability and personal responsibility for your life and what it produces. We embrace real character and integrity as much as we do physical beauty and femininity. We are called to be women of our Father's kingdom and to honor Him with our speech, actions, and our modest yet feminine dress. I would love to have you along for the ride as we embrace a manner of life that brings honor to the name of our Father and get to the work of accomplishing our mission.

When my husband and I were engaged, there was a short period where we were fighting a lot. One night we went to a friends bbq and my husband was asked to lead us in prayer before eating. When we were leaving, a girl friend of ours followed us out and told my husband how wonderful his prayer was and how it touched her. It was innocent, but the Lord used that to convict me!! I remember thinking “all he is hearing from me is criticism. Do I really want other women filling his cup with praise?” Ever since that day, 6 years ago, I have made it a point to compliment and praise my husband every single day.

My husband used to always say when I would complain about my weight after I had our son “Don’t make me see something that I don’t want to see” he didn’t see me that way and didn’t want to but by complaining about it I would bring it to his attention. Work in silence ladies 😊

27:30 This part is so true. I’ve been dressing more feminine lately, and yesterday while I was at target I was the only woman I saw wearing a long floral skirt. I actually caught SEVERAL men turning their heads back to look at me. Which I’m not concerned about their attention, because I am married and my husband was also with me. But I kid you not, for YEARS I have not been dressing feminine, sadly I can take it back to AFTER I became married. I became lazy and my daily attire consisted of huge baggy shirts and biker shorts. Of course I didn’t get anyone turning their heads to look at me.. not even my husband! But now that I dress feminine I am hearing multiple times a day from my husband how beautiful I am!! I didn’t even tell him what I was doing and how I was going to change my wardrobe. So seeing this natural reaction and shift in his perception towards me is so wonderful! I’m ready to throw all my baggy shirts and biker shorts in the trash lol 😂

@@JosieBarberryour comment means a lot to me. I just had our 4th baby and that has been my attire, t shirts and sweatpants in the house. I lost a ton of weight and it’s made me insecure. My first pregnancy took so much out of me, it caused dental problems. It’s so embarrassing. My husband asks me to dress nice for him; buying lingerie or just something nice to bed, like silk nightgowns. I’ve been so insecure that when I put something nice on for him, I cover it with a robe 🥺. I’m 32 and we have been married for almost 9 years this coming March. I have no godly women in my life. So coming here and seeing comments and watching Bindi means a lot to me. I thank YAH for so many of you. I’ve been eyeing a few nice feminine dresses that I think I’m going to finally purchase. Thank you for the encouragement. Praise Elohim! ♥️

You don’t have to be a super model, just be YOUR PERSONAL BEST. Learn what YOUR OWN HUSBAND appreciates, and do what is possible to you. One thing I want to add: Some husbands will have unrealistic expectations. If they have indulged in pornography, they have set themselves up to NOT be satisfied, no matter if you are beautiful! Do YOUR BEST, and if your husband is in sin, let God chasten him.

This is so important. I grew up conservative black baptist. I was taught at an early age that female sexual desire was something to be ashamed of. My mother was not as severe as my grandma but she still managed to make me feel ashamed of myself for any sort of feminine beauty I might have portrayed. I was a strong willed child and kinda refused to be completely unfashionable. I did cover up but I didn't think pretty prints or pink or red colors were evil. Nothing in the Bible told me any one color was evil. When I did finally married I felt ashamed when my husband called me beautiful or when he liked an outfit I was wearing. From the years of nonsense I grew up in I felt like attracting my husband was wrong even though the Bible doesn't say that.

Imagine not knowing how babies are made and being married....yeah nope I wasn't about to let that happen lol.

Learn to love your own company. Do some things for yourself sometimes, even if you feel guilty. Do some things for others sometimes when you don't feel like it. Think about the possibility of DELETING social media and make a plan of how to do it. Discover triggers from childhood trauma and rewire your brain to respond/ communicate differently. Establish clear personal boundaries with others. If an answer doesn't satisfy your inquiry, don't let it go till you get the answer you're looking for. When you guys were addressing self-confidence I do want to point out how a lot of things that we think about ourselves are purely in our head. When our culture says to fix a problem we think of surgery and body modification to look like somebody else. Rather than have an honest conversation with ourselves about comparison and self-worth. I think it's worth it to really go to God in prayer about how we feel about ourselves and our identity. Our identity should be wrapped up in Christ not in man's standard for us.

I like the points about sexual expression in the bedroom. I’ve listened to some ministries that seem to deem certain acts that aren’t considered “procreative” as wrong. Churches are either completely silent on sex or have too much control over what goes on. It has definitely been a challenge to come out of that. It’s important to do what your spouse likes and vice versa but also have healthy boundaries if something is too far.

Nazarenes and Hebrews only had sex to procreate because they practiced spiritual alchemy. If you were in the priesthood you got other practices akin to tantra but commoners were told only to have sex to procreate. Regular sex drains spiritual power. They were not worried about losing their husbands because divorce was mostly forbidden and many husbands had bondage concubines/slaves who they used. Those are the parts Christians leave out. Christians like to cherry pick what to follow and not follow but do what thou will.

This was a very good episode. I love that you touched on sexuality. Especially how you emphasized that it should be consenting and as long as no one is getting injured or it's something the other person is uncomfortable with, have the freedom to engage with each other. Married couples should have all the fun. We have God's permission to do so. The church tiptoes if that around sex as if it's a dirty secret. God made it for us. So glad to hear a healthy convo about it. I am a late 40s woman and we are empty nesters. It is time for us to really enjoy ourselves. I even told my kids please do not come over unannounced. We do not want to shatter your dreams 🤣. Keeping up our appearance is so important too. I am guilty of not dressing up to go the store. I'm decent, but I don't put forth the effort for makeup or dresses. I will try but I can't make any guarantees. I really enjoyed this show.

Oh I love this soooo much . I always say our body is the temple!!I have gotten bigger recently and people say oh you look great for a mom of 5 .... But they don't know I am heavier now than when I was pregnant with baby 5!!! I have been dealing with a skin issue and I had to take steroids etc BUT I am not gonna stay here because " they " give me a pass as a mom of 5 or because I am so tall. I'm gonna get back to working out so I can get back to a good size for me which is a medium. About 20 pounds lighter 💞 I definitely agree it's important to keep yourself up! Even in a large I dress up everyday and really take care of myself. I get compliments often because I wear long modest dresses and light makeup and jewelry everyday. People are always willing to hold doors, offer help, offer extras etc and I think that is absolutely amazing!!!

I loved this convo! ❤ We need the sexuality and sex appeal talk more for married women. It's so important. I'm currently working on weight loss after baby 2 and the confidence that comes with seeing your body getting lean makes such a difference in the bedroom. There's nothing wrong with bettering yourself externally and internally for your husband. That's loving your man. I used to hate lingerie because I wasn't confident. It's something in learning to love now. I loved the analogy of wrapping up a gift for him. I'm also in the process of having a private and a bedroom wardrobe. This just solidified my decision on that. God bless you ladies and your marriages! ❤

A women’s body is a precious gift for her husband. There’s nothing wrong with putting on sexy lingerie and either unwrapping it yourself in front of him or allowing him the honour to unwrap it. It is God’s intended design for spouses to enjoy sexual intimacy together.

Some women think wearing heavy makeup demonic nails and wig makes them look beautiful. Just enhance your natural look, exercise, be respectful and be celibate till your wedding night. It will eliminate the f boys. Live a righteous life, don’t dress naked like the modern women. Anything they do just do the opposite. Avoid surgery for any bbl, just be natural as possible. Wear your own hair stop trying to copy the white Woman by wearing wigs, u will look second to the white Woman. Don’t smoke or drink for any reason, enjoy your soft drink men love it.

I used to dress with very tight clothes and straighten my hair all the time but lately I donated all of my tight clothes and tried leaving my hair naturally how He created it but I stopped caring as much on my day to day to groom myself and I was kind of feeling guilty of trying to hard to make myself pretty but this makes soo much sense

I remember I read a comment on a blog I follow. (Which will remain unnamed to protect the privacy of the person mentioned) but this lady said her and her husband had both grown up in a church that told it's congregants that a woman was not allowed to feel pleasure in the marriage bed as that was sinful. Only the husband was allowed. And the concept of mutual pleasure was shocking to her. But at the same time, she was in a lot of pain because she never got any pleasure out of it. It was also a topic her husband refused to discuss. It literally hurt my heart hearing that. I love wearing lingerie. I love God's design for marriage. Sex appeal within the confines of marriage is vital. I need to work on it more and I need to lose weight and make an effort in my appearance.. I loved this video.❤️

I really enjoyed this perspective. It's so encouraging and refreshing to hear women speak this way. One thing I would like to add is that I've had a couple of women express that their issue with connecting freely with their husbands sexually stems from the sexual abuse they have experienced. Any advice on how to handle a situation like that?

  • @kennethfok

    @kennethfok

Not just sons, even in the presence of daughters, modest dressing is also important. The not so modest dressing should be reserved solely for your husband and it should never be worn outside of the bedroom. That would also be a good way to teach your daughter about dressing modestly. And how would you classify modest dressing at home? Should mothers and daughters be allowed to walk around the house without wearing a bra?

It’s hard for me to put effort into how I look. It’s always been something I never tried to do because I don’t feel comfortable in my own skin if I’m not in a hoodie and jeans or leggings. My husband fell in love with me when he met me in my leggings and hoodies and T-shirt’s lol so I’ve continued to just dress that way our entire relationship..I was younger than and I do now wish I put more effort in looking better, doing my hair or putting on nice clothes etc, but I feel uncomfortable when im like that idk why. I hope that changes for me. I really value your teachings and suggestions this was an awesome session.
