Your hair looks soooo healthy and shiny. You rock any style. ❤
Sis I loved your locs, but loose natural hair looks stunning on you! 😍Your hair is so healthy, and even though it’s shorter, it’s very feminine. You are still a natural hair inspiration because of how you take care of your hair and we love it. Whatever style it’s in, YOU radiate. I’m an OG subscriber but as you’ve grown, we’ve grown too and we’re here for all of it! ❤️

Yeah I've realized that short hair can still look very feminine on a woman depending on how she presents herself or her essence (honestly I think it also depends on her face too)
My hair is to my hip as a loose natural. I use grease, water, and shampoo. The Grease doubles as a sealing agent to lock moisture, I use water for hydration and shampoo for a clean scalp. That's it and I'm retaining length and my hair is thriving
Your natural hair looks so healthy and full and it’ll grow beautifully 😌
This is content is refreshing because you’re not concerned with all of the details of the natural hair community like protein-moisture balance, porosity, etc. I have struggled probably because I have been over thinking my hair. I also struggle with keeping my hair regime simple. I’m in working progress. Thanks for reminding me to keep it simple.

Green beauty is not simple but scientific channel. You won't get overwhelmed.
Just do mini twists instead of locs it’s basically the same thing and you won’t be stuck with them
Love the laughter and smiles at the end 😊 Also sis thanks for the explanation! I surely was like ‘She not about to come on here with a whole fro, no locs, and NOT talk about it?!” lol Thanks for the knowledge

Just want to say that I love your page!! I love your hair it's so nourished, defined and beautiful!
I haven’t used heat or perms for many years now. I find it helps to use aloe Vera plant juice (it’s about $2) for a leaf. It’s healing and moisturizing at the same time. God has covered me regarding this and I’m so thankful. Being content with how the hair grows helps so it isn’t stressful.
your hair look so beautifull in its natural state ❤ . I stoped being a product junkey and payed attention of what products worked for my hair and started doing my own whipped hair butter with shea butteer, mango butter and an oil infused with rosemary, tea tree, pepermint, amla and brahmy... after I started to actually adressing my hair needs, I have seen the improvements... and my biggest secret... I prayed about it ❤

Yes! And Amen 🌸
The end of an era! But of course, this looks amazing and I love the simple routine. Also, I have no kids BUT for a while, I had thinning, and yes daily scalp massages helped me ALOT. Also, rice water has been great for me to add volume. Wishing you the best as always!
Making fenugreek oil out of olive oil and fenugreek seeds absolutely helps hair fall. It’s quick natural and easy- you just massage a little into your scalp (there are plenty of videos on KZread on how to make it). You look beautiful with the short cut btw!

I soak the seeds in water and drink it every day.
Your crown is gorgeous whether loc'd,, unloc'd,, twa or whichever style. It looks so full and vibrant. ❤
For postpartum hair loss I saw the best improvement from taking a high quality multivitamin. I also switched to a silk pillowcase to limit breakage and that helped too.

The laughter and the smile is everything. Your hair looks lovely.
My postpartum shedding was insane. When my hair grew out it looked like a mullet and the longer strands had the strangest texture. Did the big chop and grew it out.
Lol at you and Camron at the end. You looks so pretty with an afro and your hair is so beautiful. I would suggest, if you’re putting the Shea butter only on your hair and nothing on your scalp after using Dr Bronners soap (which can be harsh for some scalps), and you’re using it more than once a week, try consider nourishing your scalp with the Shea butter as well. Maybe the scalp is being striped from the bar soap and not getting sufficiently toned and nourished/ replenished enough after shampooing. Your scalp may be super clean and adding the ACV may add to further scalp issues. 🙏🏽 wishing you a positive hair regrowth journey
I’m an OG Subbie 👋🏾 You gave me an excellent hair consultation a few years back advising me on my hair which was in an unintentional loc’d state. This description of your current hair regimen was thoroughly explained & greatly appreciated! Your hair in any state- loc’d or loose looks amazing! Thanks for the info!🙏🏾
The short look is becoming. It makes you look more youthful and highlights the features in your face.♥️ You have a beautiful smile.😁
Awww… look how your eyes light up when you look at your hubby 🥰🥰❤❤. You and your hair look beautiful.
Your hair is so gorgeous and healthy. Your smile radiates. Love u, Joyce ❤
My jaw dropped when I saw you'd cut your lush-locs - Thank you for the update and expanding on your reasoning behind the chop...because I'm now reconsidering the shedding on my temples more tentatively mostly because castor oil is just not cutting it, and winter is truly upon us (here in Germany) . Your post has me reconsidering letting my locs go,. Till recently, growing them out and maintaing a healthy scalp was so effortless. All that to say, thank you for your transparency, the tips for minimal maintainance & most obvioust, your short cut is so healthy & SO SO beautiful.🌻
Thanks for this post. My hair, and body needs have changed big time since I turned 40 and especially after having my son a while back. I recently ran a full vitamin and mineral panel and pattern my supplements accordingly. Adding wild yam and sulfur based soap on my skin has also helped tremendously ❤

@@shequonhansen397 I requested it due to some symptoms of an obvious deficiency and I have coverage through my Husband's employer so unfortunately I have no idea the cost.
Aww the way up look up at hubby! So beautiful
I appreciate the fact that you straight up just washed your hair in a full dress and jewelry for the sake of modesty - reminds me of how, on my church's camping trips, if folks want to swim, they just sort of naturally separate by gender and just jump in, fully clothed, in their normal attire ( usually long pants and skirts ). Some have special swimming outfits - surf shirts and knee skirts made out of fast-drying material - but basically everybody just swims in normal clothes. Granted, it looks a little funny, but it totally works and as long as you're not trying to swim laps or something, there's no real downside 😅🤷♀️🙃
So, I don’t have locs, or curly hair. I have straight hair. BUT I was noticing my hair was so unhealthy from years of pregnancy and dying my hair. So I cut it to a pixie cut !! Do I want a pixie cut all my life? Nope but I want healthy hair. I find myself leaning towards a more feminine look now with my shorter hair!
I love the ending such a beautiful friendship/marriage.❤ Regarding postpartum shedding I used a lot of Ayurvedic oils and Haitian Castro oil in addition massages. I actually lower my head so the blood flow could go closer to the scalp and massage. An India technique
I love how versatile you are while still being consistent. You teach modesty and femininity and now hair but still go in the shower with a dress keeping with modesty. Love ❤
You have beautiful hair ❤ I like the locks and your natural curls. Whatever you and your husband agree with is best! I keep my hair long because my husband loves it...but I may cut it a good bit right before our newest baby is bored to relieve some weight off the hair 😊
You look so pretty ❤ the hair, your skin, the nails all simple but so beautiful
You’re really beautiful. I love how healthy your hair looks. I just started my loc journey but I love looking at everyone’s hair
Aww og fan here. Postpartum shedding with locs sucks because sometimes you really just have to start over. Haven't had a baby yet, so no idea yet if I'm predisposed to it, but you've taken it with grace. And you look beautiful with the fro. Clips at the end were wholesome to the max
This fro looks so cute! Shoutout to how clean the inside of your looks were after being cut. They were definitely well taken care of
Bindi is so beautiful, oh my word!
AWEEEEEE BIG SIS, you are too cute ❤ I love the little blooper reel at the end they capture your raw natural elegance so pretty 🩷🩷🩷🩷
The thing that has helped me the most with my postpartum hair loss is drinking a nettle infusion. Bonus: it helps with my energy as well! I drink it just about every day. I also use rosemary infused oil that I rub in my scalp for 5-10 minutes about an hour before I wash my hair.
Your hair is absolutely beautiful and I agree keep it simple on the hair regimen
The curls clumping is so cool! Your have very nice hair, lashes and brows 👌
I originally found your channel because of your locs. I was actually gonna book an appointment to get microlocs this month. I am 8 months post parturm and have had hairline loss. I hope its okay to still gets locs. I cannot keep my hair loose anymore. I have honestly not been the best natural. I have an infant and toddler and rarely get time to do my hair uninterrupted, unless I do it in the middle of the night. I've yet to even care properly for my sons hair cuz he cries if I just touch his head. I may get him locs, idk. Thanks for sharing your journey, Joyce. I may get a hair journal, too.

I’m in the same boat! I wash my hair less, protective style 99% of the time and wear headscarf’s. But my hair is thriving! So when the the children are a bit older in a year, I’m hoping I have reached my hair goal in length. All the best to you! 💕

I don’t have much experience but I thght I’d offer mine. I’m trying to make doing my toddlers hair part of their routine and not optional so there is no power struggle and minimal tears so I just put on a short video or give them a fun snack and tell them it’s time to do their hair! I try to make it sound exciting and talk through their emotions (so instead of ignoring the tears I’d say oh man I see big tears bc you think it’s going to hurt when I do your hair but it’s not so bad here’s ‘x’ let’s see if it’ll be okay today!’ Then I do a small section and be super extra slow and gentle. Then I say look at that you made it! And it didn’t even hurt! Good job for x (sitting still, not crying, etc)! Then I’d repeat either some other time that day or the next. Just focusing on changing their association with getting their hair done and consistency. The whole thing would take 5-10 minutes max. As for your hair do at least part of it when they are awake! Don’t use your precious sleep/alone time for things you can do while they’re up! I’d set up my baby with the swing and bottle or high chair and snack and they’d learn to sit and watch me wash my hair in the sink. I try to talk and make eye contact throughout at first. My older toddler just needed a new activity or snack or both and she’d be set! Tears may or may not happen but my mood change after I have a clean detangled head was a blessing to us all lol. Good luck! Just sharing some ideas!
That hair style looks Gorgeous on you. Those curls are sooo pretty.
OG subscriber. Loved your natural hair, loved your locs and love this tea. So thick, shiny, and luscious looking
Love the idea of a hair journal. Looking forward to following you on your journey💜💜💜
I love the way you say "Shea butter " ☺️. Thank you, Bindi. Good for you!
Sis, I have had 7 children and experienced postpartum shedding in the same area each time. This last time has been the best, as far as me retaining the most hair in those areas. I used some infused oils in combination with food based iron supplements and red rasberry leaf and nettle tea. I am grateful that I won’t have to do a bc again!
The hair journal is sooo smart ! I may start one as well . Thanks for sharing with us 💕
You hair looks so soft as if it has relaxer in it. Glad you paid attention to yourself and your hair.
Love your new healthy hair! You do look feminine and beautiful! Love that you are keeping it simple with good quality products too! ❤
Thanks for making this! I loved your locs but the fro is so nice!
A hair journal is actually such a great idea!
Your hair is so HEALTHY and cute. Look at all those gorgeous clumpy coils! And I 😍 your nails!
Your hair looks incredibly healthy and beautiful. Your smile can light up a room. ❤
Honestly, you’re beautiful every way because you’re beautiful on the inside… and also your FACE is so pretty 🤌🏾 The icing on the cake is the care you take with your health. Lovely!
HAD TO TAKE SOME SCREENSHOTS OF YOUR LAST SCENES LOOKING UP AT YOUR HUSBAND FROM THE SHOWER BECAUSE YOU JUST LOOKED SOOO PRETTY!! ❤ (I'm female, no worries 😊).
The nice thing about hair is that it grows. You look beautiful either way.
I'm currently going through postpartum hair loss and pigmentation and its bad. Thank you for sharing, helps to know that I'm not alone in this.
The hair journal is a great idea! Not only for you but for your girls 🥺 also half way through the video so I’m not sure if you’ll mention it but when you make your own shampoo, let me know how it works! I’ve been looking into diy conditioner and shampoo because even the “cleaner” products aren’t that clean!
Same! I use castile soap and shea butter for skin and hair care with no issues. They really cut down on costs and the amount of chemicals I use on my body.
Those last few minutes of the video from 14:41 were so cute, I couldn't stop smiling, your smile was so pure, and you had a sparkle in your eyes🥰😇May God maintain the blessing upon your marriage❤❤
Your new hairstyle is so cute. You look so youthful! ❤
You are so pretty, Bindi 🩷 You have such beautiful hair!
Your hair is beautiful ❤️ I love a simple regimen
Oh wow I was in love with your locs I’m so sorry to hear about your hair loss
Your coils are EVERYTHING!🔥🔥🔥
Love it sis! Just cut my locs off earlier this year in May, I’m loving this new journey ☺️
I had to cut it all off, really invest in my nutrition (while milk, protein, veggies, lots of water/tea) Very light Scalp massage, I wash every few days with the HASK tea tree shampoo and conditioner. Now I use a little bit of Miele (pink bottle) curl defining gel and leave in conditioner, and once my hair is dry I’ll use a small amount of jojoba oil. My hair texture is in between wavy and curly, the curls being tighter right in the front which is where my hair loss was (I also had thinning all over). I do wet it every day, since my curls drop while it’s short, but I don’t apply product every day. This is all after having my third child, so, yea. Hope this helps someone lol
You can rock any look. Just naturally beautiful! And very thick, healthy hair too!
Prenatal vitamins make your hair thicker in pregnancy. Also check your iron levels. My iron has always been mildly low and causes thin hair.
Healthy hair comes first i agree. Mineral/bone density, stem cell renewal & strong blood flow seem to be the key to regrowing thick hair. I personally witness my edges grow back after a liquid fast during which I drank a lot of nettle tea, lemon juice, green clay and activated charcoal. I guess the mix of it all remineralized me and stimulated my stem cells. Whatever, short of long, I really love your hair and I can't wait to see how long and fast you grow it back!

I was told once to follow a high mineral and vitamin rich diet. Eating plenty of protein intentionally and then taking prenatal vitamins (they're loaded with more vitamins that you'd need)
Shea butter for the win!! It really is the best for my hair as well. 🌸
I had hair loss due to pcos and was able to rehab my scalp using Bronner's Castle soap, Jamaican black castor oil, tea tree oil, and Shea butter. My edges came back and my hair got thicker.I also incorporated Biotin into my regimen. I now have sisterlocks and my edges are still healthy, mainly because I kept my same routine.
Beautiful look Darling! I had very bad postpartum hairline shedding with my first of my 4 children. I was told to take the folic acid vitamin for a year and a half after by my stylist and with my last 3 children I never had shedding following that one instruction. Hope this helps someone! Blessings on your new journey! 💜💜💜
Thank for the update. Your afro looks lovely.
The end clips were so stinkin' cute! 🥰
I've been waiting on this!!! You are beautiful!!!
You’re hair is beautiful!! I had post partum hair loss in the same areas with both of my kids. 1st child I was a loose natural, microlocs with my second, same solution. I massaged a tiny amount of Jamaican Black Castor Oil along the hairline every morning. Thickened it right back up. Hope it works for you too 😊
I pretty much do the same. I have realized my hair manageable and thrives better with natural shea-butter (which is in abundance in my country; Ghana). I use black soap as shampoo but I occasionally treat my hair with aloe vera and tea. My go-to natural oil is Jamaican black castor oil. That's it for me.
Your hair is sooo 😍 Suits you so very well!
Your hair is absolutely beautiful!
It’s so beautiful!! You look great!!!❤❤❤
You're so cute! The snippets at the end aww 🥰
Your hair looks so pretty!!!
Your beautiful hair. You look so so good with this new hair style 😍
Thanks for sharing! It is so beautiful and I was curious. I am currently debating cutting my locs and this was helpful.
Honestly, this style suits you so well
Your hair looks beautiful Bindi ❤️
I had use rice soap before, and I love it!
My Locs are down to my butt and I can't imagine what your talking about. I'm also 50. My Locs are very healthy and I attest that to ME ONLY doing them. NOBODY has ever touched my hair but me. I believe your talking about a hairline that your BORN with. Nothing special. If your Dad had a hairline like that you will too. People have been growing locs for centuries. THIS is a commitment, a rebellion against the establishment of using hair utensils and the STATUS QUO. Growing locs is a journey toward freedom and I'm here to stay. #NocombsNoMo 😊✊🏾💪🏾
Bindi Marc. I know you aren't a beauty channel. But i really am inspired by you. And when you came on this screen a few weeks ago and your hair looked like mine, i could've cried. You look very beautiful. And if you wouldnt mind sharing your hair care routine i would really appreciate it. I would honestly pay you (via biying a dress from the modest fitting)
the end was too cute😂🤎
Your crown is beautiful!
The ending was so cute😂❤❤ thanks for sharing it
Your hair is absolutely gorgeous friend, i think you made a great decision ❤
You have beautiful hair and nails. Both look healthy and strong. The short cut enhances the healthiness of your hair and it's gorgeous. Love the color of your nail polish also. It's beautiful with your skin tone. At 66 yrs young, I realize that natural Godly beauty is the best beauty of all and it shows through you. God bless!
I use organic Carter oil and massage it into my scalp and eyebrows and even on my eye lashes. It also helps dissolve floaters in the eyes and is generally a great moisturizer.
Your scalp might just be itching because that’s the normal amount of time it takes for sebum to start being produced on your scalp. If you had straightened hair that’s about the time it’s start getting oily looking. Your new hair looks very pretty on you.
I used 100% pure Jamaican black castor oil (100% natural) to restore my edges. I also did scalp massages twice every week and my edges were restored successfully. I experienced this twice, the first time was after the birth of my daughter and the second time was after trying exo styler gel. It ripped off my edges so quick, like after two uses I had no more edges 😅. To this day I will only use Jamaican black castor oil on my scalp.
Same thing happened to me after I had my daughter. I was just patient and made sure the area didn’t have tension on it. It’s since grown back
I’ve been really getting into shampoo bars as well!
Huh! That’s interesting because my locs actually helped me grow in my thinning hair in my temple areas, but I have thick locs so maybe that’s the difference? Your natural curls are SO beautiful though 😍! And I totally understand the postpartum shedding, hoping I don’t get it too bad this time around 🤞🏿! Thank you for sharing ❤️🙏🏿!
I'm going to try mircolocs or sister locs. You are still beautiful without the locs but you knew that. 😊 Thank you for sharing its very informative.
