this is the kind of level i had in mind for a "harder tower" mod which replaces every level with a bizarro difficult version of its base game self, this would be crust cove

I had an idea where the levels merged up with each other for example: Oh Shit! With John Gutter, I’m still deciden if it should be called Oh Gutter! Or Shit Gutter what I mean by this is that levels will have the level lay out like the level layout of John gutter with the tiles of Oh Shit! Including new rooms In between, you get what I mean right?

Crust Cove 2: The electric boogaloo

Honestly, its kinda decent level, but otherwise its good I guess, I liked the recolored shrimp city (aka beach style) and title card, but other stuff are not really good, like almost every single game mechanic crammed in a single level. But still, its kinda nice looking, good job!

god yea most people dont stick to a gimmick pallete or a enemy pallete and its actually funny to see all of the poor design decisions and if they dont have gimmick spam they usually tend to have a shit ton of sleeping john blocks and absolutely zero solid john blocks before the escape.

Okay, this has a lot of promise, but PLEASE tone down the gimmicks. What I would suggest: -Remove Mort -Remove Sausage -Remove Gustavo section, cool puzzle but should be a gimmick for another level since it's not used anywhere else -remove Golf (Why even?) -Remove animatronics/shotgun -The ball feels arbitrary and out of place And focus the level more on explosions (Bomb goblins, captain goblin, mines, etc) + the barrel transformation. Maybe also the rail grinding since it feels in-theme. Maybe go for a theme of a police raid on a party or whatever-this could tie in well with the police pigs. The other enemies like the Pineacool and the anchovie+Shrimp could be like the partying part of the level. Maybe have a puzzle where a police pig catches you while you're carrying a bomb or whatever, but it feels like an unnecessary overload of mechanics that get used once atm. I like the mines in conjection with the barrel, it's a good idea! I'd also suggest making the level longer, with more rooms utilising these three specific mechanics in interesting ways (barrel mine section, for example!). If you want to get an old gimmick more love, replace the barrel with the firemouth transformation and add TNT blocks to go with the explosion theme. A lot of these mechanics and ideas could be great standalone levels, but together like this it doesn't work. I hope this helps a bit, I like the idea but right now it feels overly cluttered. I think with enough work, this could geniunely be one of the best levels the community made!

the original idea was actually centered around using the WAR timers- before eventually deciding to make the choice to switch to a regularly paced pt level. all the gimmicks mashed together was a testiment to the "time attack" vibe, to see how fast you could get through them. that's where the bomb name came from, and later on after changing the format of the level i didn't exactly follow up on the theme very much. this was still one of my earlier levels though so it's not exactly the best, most of this was just me screwing around with the editor seeing what worked.

Don’t know why you named the level bomb bay when there’s a whole load of different non-bomb gimmicks thrown in. That’s another gripe actually, this level is very inconsistent which is likely the point but given the name… well yeah. I do like the change to the city area tho.

Loved the secrets, but the excessive transformations not so much 😅

There are way to many barely used/pointless gimmicks

Im going to be honest this level seems poorly thought. You use so many gimmicks once or twice in a 5 minute long level where they just feel out of place and unnecessary. Instead of adding in a random 5 second long barrel section or a random confusing Gustavo section you should focus on only a couple of gimmicks or it just turns into a compliation of a bunch of gimmicks thrown together to make a messy level. The secrets are also pretty bad except the 3rd one which is amazing.

Here is also another tip: you should always say what parts you like and THEN say what they could improve (just a lil tip)

In my opinion the level uses too many unique transformations/gimics, since you used the word "bomb" in the title I feel like you should try to use gimics like landmines while escorting a bomb, some gimics just might not fit the theme
