It was held in 1982, as part of Festival of India. Live broadcast on TV, which I saw and was mesmerised when I was 14 years old.

Amazing singing accompanied by inimitable gesticulations that closely intertwine & flow as naturally as a gushing mountain stream!!! I only wish that the video quality could have been better.

When things were slow and it was ok to be slow. What is the hurry these days

18 hrs/day of practice! 🙀 I cant even sleep for that long, or play video games for that long!

Sarang is supposed to be soothing in a hot afternoon. Hope ,all hearing feel the same. Sincere Namaskar to the Late Pt Bhimsenji. But, he will stay alive in our hearts. Request all the listeners to concentrate and feel the cooling effect this raaga has…

This is another of many versions of this raag I have heard by the Maestro, and am once again thrilled by it. Many thanks for posting, and all the work you do for music lovers!

One of my favorite artist pt.mhimsen ji joshi.no coment s .namaskar.

Many salutations to Raju Asokan Ji for reloading this masterpiece. It was there till about a couple of years ago. But suddenly it disappeared for reasons unknown. I was so sad to miss it. Now I really glad that it is back and hope it will remain forever. Brindavani Sarang is one of Pandit Ji's favourite Raagaas.

Let's hope this doesn't disappear! :D

It's not Mysore state of Dharwad which wrongly prounced.The state is named as Karnataka and n 1975.pl correct the information
