Ya I just passed mine a couple weeks ago. I failed my first attempt because of my nerves. I was fully prepared but failed because I got to nervous. If I could give you some advice just really take your time and think. They dont rush you. Act like you're driving with your buddy haha

I’m so glad you brought up the subject of loneliness, the best cure for that, is get a dog. It is truly rewarding it will change your entire job and make it more enjoyable. My dog comes with me on every load. If you do decide to get one, get it from a local pound, or the Humane Society, and have them choose the dog for you just like I did. Tell them what the dog is for, Tell them that it’s going to be in your cab most of the time, and I promise you they will choose the right dog but make sure you ask a veterinarian at whatever establishment you’re going to they always have an on site vet.

Hey CHEZ! Been binge watching all your videos. I'm 19 and have contemplated the idea of getting a cdl for a couple years now. After seeing your channel I know now that I need to take the leap and go to the cdl school an hour away from me. If I sign on with them for 2 or 3 years they'll pay the schooling, which is great since I live all the way up in Northern Wisconsin. I love learning stuff from your vids and I just wanna say thank you for inspiring me! Keep the videos coming man!

Where do I get the window screen from? Lol, I can do 695-720 at night if not picking up or I can do 1700 in a day half or work. I also enjoy my dumbells I told you about before they are called JaxJox from Best Buy won’t take much room up in the cascadia they go up to 50Ibs each they are digital. I’m on a double drop right now I’m at the 1st one ALDIs, 2nd one Foodlion 0700.

About the speed i also drive for a mega carrier like you used too and 68mph is my top and the reason i use the middle lane is because beside the lot of cars that merge from the right but also i got a lot of sensors on my truck that with cars on front of me going slow so i end up going 53mph instead of 65-68 and that kind of sucks when you trying to hurry a little bit and you can’t even go speed limit but still i move out of the other trucks way because like you said there’s nothing i can do but not every trucker get out of your way

@@chez8239 most of that time was sitting waiting to be loaded. I drove locally in my city I probably spent less than 2hrs actually driving. The day was mostly spent sitting at 3 different wearhouses. Idk if waiting was considerd not working 🤷‍♂️

How many miles do you do per day when you're pushing yourself? 1700 miles in 3 days seems like a lot lol. That's like 566 miles a day.

I’m good thanks for asking ! and yes I always do, I normally just have it set on 3😂 and no im just a company driver (: and tbh I personally think there is no time to tell when should you become an o/o its a matter of when you know your ready and you can do it then that’s when I would pull the trigger, do a lot of research and being 100% ready is the key and not to failure 💯

I don't drive yet looking to get into it trying to figure out what school to go to for the moment.
