Jim Root himself can't even play the studio solo this accurately live because it was apparently pretty improvised.. Not knocking his playing whatsoever, he's a guitar God, but you my man nailed that shit perfectly.. and on a Zakk LP thats cool as hell (thumbs up emoji)

@@h3rtzen as someone who has played the guitar since 9, i can confirm this is true without a doubt. Personally I feel like Jim's playing has more soul compared to mick, but he has less technical skill. On the other hand mick is like an emotionless robot who has been programmed to shred since birth.

That was fucking amazing. This is one of my favorite solos of all time. What string gauge were you using? I tried using 11s for drop A but the A was too loose.

@@henryr.schrader7520 i use 56 in the lowest string and it doesn't feel loose? or maybe it is indeed loose but i played acoustic in A standard with E standard strings so i think thats why i think it isn't feel loose... i have a question, with the correct gauges, the pinch harmonics are more easy, or it doesn't matters?

i know im 2 years late but there are tabs on Songsterr just go to the website and look up psychosocial. If you want it in standard tuning there is a youtube video just look up "Psychoscial Solo standard tuning" and there is a video with a demo + tabs
