Thanks for the recommendations. I’ve only read The Silent Patient out of these and I LOVED it! Right from the start I was hooked and there’s no way I’d have guessed that ending. I was convinced I knew but reading the last few pages I was like WTF is going on RN, surely not😂

The Silent is terrific. When I got to that twist, I put the book aside for 2 mins to let that sink in.

My favorite of the series yet!! Psychological thrillers are the best! 💘 I can’t wait to get my hands on the new Grady Hendrix book now!

Home before Dark was one of my top 3 fav 2023 books, i loove Riley!

I love thrillers. Even better when most chapters end in cliff hangers and when the ending is left open to interpretation.

Omg I just love all your recs. Can you pretty please do "if you liked this then you will like.." for psychological twisty thriller/horror. I read The patient yesterday afternoon and I'm obsessed. Reading How to sell a haunted house now and already love it. I need more! Lol 😅

I’ve never picked up I’m Thinking of Ending Things because I thought it was about unaliving yourself and I’m just not in the headspace for that. I’ll have to give it a go when I’m a bit more settled because it dose have me interested.

I read two psychological thriller books back to back. Because it's my favourite genre. The first one is "The silent patient" . The another one is "Verity" Gosh!!!!!!! Absolutely mind blowing experience

Home Before Dark is my RS favorite. It actually scared me. I mean SCARED. Something about the writing just made your mind wander, think and have you grabbing your cell phone just in case😅 I was expecting thriller but this is thriller/horror. Excellent book and Highly recommended.

@@lipu19not all of it, but there QUITE a few scary moments that just creeped me out. There’s enough of these moments to make it scary, and one particular scene that made me get up to check the door. Best RS book ever. Definitely read it!

The fact that I read Pretty Girls last month and How to Sell a Haunted House this month... it's going to be tough for any future books I read this year because I already feel like one of those will be my fave of the year 😂😭

Super late to this party but your description of The Perfect Child reminds me of The Push by Ashley Audrain. Very similar premise but the baby wasn’t adopted. INCREDIBLE book, still has me thinking about it over two years later.

my favorite is definitely psychological thriller 😮‍💨 like PLEASE mess with my mind, make me think 😭

Just don’t want there to be grossness, that’s all. I like suspense that grabs me from the first page. Could you please say in your videos if you know whether or not the books available as an audiobook maybe even let us know if it’s on KZread I don’t know if you can do that.

I absolutely loved How to Sell a Haunted House and The Patient. Such good horror books! I wasn't a big fan of Home Before Dark. I know I am in the minority on that one. However, I am definitely a fan of Riley Sager. I bought Sometimes I Lie while watching your video 😂 I hadn't heard of that one!

Fast paced??? The silent patient?? I have been trying to get into it for weeks....i turn audible on and aftwr about a chapter and a half i get bored and turn it off. It seems so slow moving to me! I truly do wanna get into it......ABOUT WHAT CHAPTER DOES IT START GETTING GOOD??? Now the im thinking of ending things i have seen the movie and it was MEH...but hoping the book is much better

Couldn't finish Home Before Dark. It's so unrealistic that one book would have that much effect on someone's life/community. It's laughable.

unlike educators, people love to challenge the authority of mental health professionals. i always preface statements i make around psychology with my background so people know that i’m saying something evidence- based rather than my own opinions. people are very easily triggered by the smallest, most insignificant things when talking mental health- see exhibit a: this comment.
