Hey there! I’m a 고려대학교(Korea University) student. This type of thing is quite common here. Korea University students have in general a really tight bond with each other so most concerts and even the 고연 (Korea University vs Yonsei University) matches have this kind of atmosphere when we are cheering for our team. We are even famous for our strong and big alumni network in Korea so the connection we have even extends outside our school haha

It has a social-biology explanation, we humans love to get together, loose ourselves and enjoy momments. The feeling "we are all here together enjoying", just hype us and makes us feel very good. It's part of our social nature. And I mean this concert was NUTS, I'd LOVE to be there tho!

Actually, everyone was on their phones to take videos of Psy. But, Psy explicitly asked the audience to put their phone away and dance with him LOL.

Not the best day for me, but when I come back to this song and video, I feel so much better! The energy of the crowd, the dancing, the sheer sea of people, makes everything fade away! That's what music does for me, and I imagine for many others too. Love this!

@@shaki3769 I lived there and I know what I’m talking about, they are very selective with their artist and sometimes it’s very difficult to see them excited in some concerts, I know because I even argued with the crowd in the Waterbomb festival 😂

Americans don't know how to enjoy the Psy concert. They'll just bring out the phone and record. No participation, just watching.

Watching this concert, even though I dont understand a thing they are saying, I just want to be there. Never seen such a happy concert before. Everything so much in sync Just perfect. No musician would have this synchronized crowd reaction and wouldn't be happy. This is so amazing.

Korea university seems to have the best uni festival in the whole country lol their scale are just diff tbh and even their invited singers line up are all top popular stars all at once wow i wonder just how rich their school is

Not a fan of this guy, but it's wonderful to see an ocean of people having fun - that gives a great feeling of joy (even thou i was not there).
