Despite their actual age, PSY is youthful, while Yoongi is an old soul, so that's why they were able to relate to and click with each other very well even when there's a considerably big age gap between them. They compliment each other and their chemistry is amazing, definitely one of the best collabs of the year!

Totally agree! I wrote my own comment but its along the lines as yours, about how Koreans respect there seniors. As someone who has been a fan of kpop for 14 years and a fan of BTS for 8, it makes me SO happy to hear Suga say "he paved the way for K-POP in the US, that we were able to follow his footsteps with ease." I think a lot of solo BTS fans (specifically new ones) like to say "BTS PAVED THE WAY" and yes that is true in some respects but there are DIFFERENT ways of "paving the way". There isn't just one clear cut example, there were many idols and groups before them that allowed for the success BTS was able to achieve. Like lets looks at BoA and The Wonder Girls, they were very much some of the first to make baby steps in the west outside of Korea. I remember being bullied for listening to this "weird foreign music" in middle school and high school. Gangnam Style came out while I was in high school and I CLEARLY remember that was the first time all these people who bullied me actually acknowledged kpop, they liked the song. These white country kids sang and danced to it, they still made fun of kpop but this was there first real grasp of it. I could list on and on all the examples of different ways certain idols paved the way. These groups and idols opened the door, but BTS are the ones making sure that door stays open. For me they were the first (not the legit first) but the first modern group to kinda make it there whole identity to sing about mental health, bullying, societal pressure, wealth hierarchy, etc. You had OG's like Seo Taiji and Boys doing that but BTS were kinda the group to make that stick and now you see so many other groups focus on real lyrics, they are writing and composing songs themselves....that used to not be the norm with other groups, it happened but it wasn't as common as it is now. I got to witness first hand BTS grow from this underdog group to the world stars they are today, but let us not forget the efforts of people before them. BTS themselves sing and write about their inspirations in their songs, they talk about their own idols in interviews, if THEY THEMSELVES can admit and pay respect to other artists....then so should the fans.

The way PSY and Suga have different personalities, they blended well while dancing, singing and producing. The amalgamation was another reason THAT THAT is evergreen!!

I like Suga, but I think that he should fix his gay look, in thumbnails, IMO. They give off a very amateur vibe to international fans, as most of them are not exposed to these kinds of gay like looks that's common in Asian Media, IMO. Please don't take this, the wrong way guys!

I LOVED this insight into the whole process leading up to the release of That That. So glad Yoongi was able to have such fun working with PSY. It's such a pleasure to see how PSY perfectly grasped the immense depth and breadth of Yoongi's ability. It's so nice that Psy is someone who openly and happily supports younger musicians and wanted to share advice to them. He has the spirit of a wise mentor and that's so valuable to have. It must have been wonderful for Suga to discover that the man he admired was not only a nice, warm person but that Psy also looked at his skills and respects them. It's always scary to meet your heroes but such a relief when they're as lovely as you hoped.

I love the relationship and respect they have for each other so much! Also, Psy's laugh after he talks about slowly involving "our Yoongi" more and more one step at a time was so funny. It caught me off-guard, made me laugh, and I almost spit coffee all over my computer.

i feel like both psy & suga really, genuinely hit it off, both in terms of work ethic and friendship wise. i hope the relationship will continue to bloom and someday we get to see bts collab with artists from p-nation! thank you so much!

I'm from Canada and I remember Psy'sGangnam Style music video's release. It made me happy. I wasn't the best at dancing but I enjoyed trying. I'm an introvert so this song made me feel free; I've got osteoarthris in my lower back and both knees, now, so dancing isn't easy. I still I enjoy That That. I'm Army. I'm glad for Psy's comeback with Yoongi. I'm glad it all worked out for both of them.This makes me smile and happy for both of them.

I like Suga, but I think that he should fix his gay look, in thumbnails, IMO. They give off a very amateur vibe to international fans, as most of them are not exposed to these kinds of gay like looks that's common in Asian Media, IMO. Please don't take this, the wrong way guys!
