Sadly that's just the nature of PSY=Frames, they're so bad pure that they have to be paired with great archetypes that often outshine the PSY-Frames you do include.

@@babbit09 Their flaw is the lack of *any* proactive gameplan. I love them to death but a searcher and starter that doesnt require your opponent to do smt would be amazing. Especially searching for your field spell is crucial.

@@zema9401 Exactly, also I really feel like Lambda should have had a built in “search any PSY-Frame card on Link Summon” effect as well, as Lambda without the field spell will make you just burn through Driver’s faster, and other times you simply don’t have a PSY-Frame monster in hand when you DO open the field spell. A Link-1 Psychic that requires a Psychic Monster as material that lets you Special Summon a psychic monster from deck but psychic locks you would help the deck as well IMO, allowing you to play more generic psychic cards without getting out of hand like Emergency Teleport did in some formats

I find it funny when the opponent does the good stuff combo and they quit

Unfortunate that Psy-Frame requires "no monsters on your field" to activate their effects, specially against these new archetypes.

Surprised you didn’t add 3 Metaverse to the deck too. When I played Psy Frame it made the deck so much better. Cause it really needs their field spell to get full use out of them on opponents turn.

Interesting! A functional Psy-Frame deck. Didn’t think of Horus though. I tried to use it with the Myutant engine with E-teleport onto Myutant monster searcher into Myutant extender monster for free Link 2 but this!! I like it! 😍👍

The sorry part is how TCG exclusive is looked down upon because it isn't T1/0, but when you actually take a look at them, they are actually balanced in terms of restrictions (most of the time) and playstyle. 3 E-Tele (for TCG) or 2 E-Tele (for OCG/MD), gets you a free.. any generic L-2 monster to climb. It's a pretty nifty engine with E-Tele! xD

I feel like you threw the game in the end against Kashtira. None of the PSY-Frames have limits on how many times you can use their effects, so you could have triggered the PSY-Frames in the beginning more often and then Synchro, since the drivers aren't banished by synchro summoning (unless that continuous spell is in play, which you could have negated with PSY-Frame)

Psy-frames don't really have other ways to play in Modern Yu-Gi-Oh without the Horus Cards or any other broken engine
