Ronaldo has always been respectful. He comes off arrogant (but not disrespectful) because he's fashionable and into brands and uses his image to sell products and markets himself in that way. He's building an empire. Messi just wants to play football and doesn't care much about showcasing his private life. Neither one is disrespectful.
