Thank you pastor David. It's through tears I type this today. I am fighting depression something terrible. I needed this teaching this morning. There is no other teacher that touches my soul like you do. Thank you for posting the words on the screen too. I am a visual learner. I love the quotes by the various people you mention especially Charles Spurgeon. You are such a blessing to me. Please keep the videos coming. I also listen to your through the Bible series everyday on Enduring Word. If I could meet you in person I would offer up a huge hug (well maybe before COVID, lol) but here's a huge cyber hug anyway. Thank you so much for all that you do for my soul everyday. You teach it. And that means the world to me. Blessings!!!

Hope you are doing better today David

I was listening to Scripture on my Bible app while working yesterday because I've dealt with fear and anxiety for so long and so much, and yesterday I was in that once again, a strong feeling of anxious thoughts, worries, fear. I add the scriptures going in the background just to hopefully absorb some of it through the day and gain encouragement. Most didn't register with me however this verse stuck out to me out of all of them. Because of where it talks about anxious concerns. So are we visited it this morning and my time with the Lord and then continued in my normal reading which was in Matthew 26 and I got to verse 40 I believe it was that talks about Jesus going to pray and asking the disciples to stay awake and they couldn't keep their eyes open. It was very clear to me that the Lord was making a connection between Psalms 13 where it says enlightened my eyes otherwise I will sleep in death and then where it says in Matthew 26 that the disciples couldn't keep their eyes open. I'm not exactly sure what that connection is yet. But I'm seeking it out and asking the Lord for more insight, wisdom and revelation.

put on the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness... lift up your voice and SING!

I appreciate the teaching and balance on our feelings. We don't want to deny feelings; there is a place for them, yet we cannot trust them. We go to the Bible for truth, not our feelings.

Thank you so much Pastor David. You have been a blessing more than you can imagine. I particularly like what you said about being thankful for our salvation, even if we are in the worst situation, our salvation is worth thanking God abundantly for. It is what matters most in our lives. Thank you once again. That's a word for this time also I believe, even if we can't understand what the Lord is doing through the corona virus, we bless him for what we have, the salvation of our souls.

I have a long list of troubles daily but I see that too, that lots of reasons to be thankful for His mercy and even if I do not see the reason for my difficulties, I trust He knows and He will get me through them some day. Thank you and God bless you.

I would cry out all the time hear me God I felt like david I understand my Jesus more than ever I would cry when I wad young to learn more about God Jesus the holy spirit but my catholic church never let me read the word of God for me to understand to find my purpose my peace I need to live to have raith believe in God you are helping me so much I go to work 2 hours to study then see your utube and you are from God thank you. So I can talk to God pray with my heart ❤️ I'm learning to put God 1st. Thank you for all you do. I pray one day you will come to Erie pa. God used you to save my soul my life. I feel God is hiding from me. My stupid heart said that is because God wants to avoid me. The truth is that God is hiding His anger after I avoided Him, hiding from Him to commit sin. Hence my wise heart said, "who is hiding from whom then really?" We left from God's presence whenever we feel we don't want Him. And we cry out for Him when we need His presence. What's wrong with me? Sin, that's what's wrong, your sin... If not for God's mercy, I am done for. Hodu l'adonoi ki l'olam chasdo... Give thanks to God; for His mercy endureth forever... Thank you for the enduring words.
