This is a Passover psalm (Psalm 116-118).This is what Jesus sang with His disciples the night before His crucifixion. (Mark 14:26). After learning about this, I have never read this Psalm the same way as before. My mind is blown. (Read Mark 14-15 and then Psalm 116-118.) Shalom!

I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. 2 Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live. 8 For you, Lord, have delivered me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, 9 that I may walk before the Lord in the land of the living. Amen!

My heart almost can't take this. God has been so good to me all these years, and hearing this reminds me again of when He saved me from a lifetime of shame and regret.
